Fan Wishlist's for SR5

Better closure on enemies from the prequel(s). Example: I wish SR4 mentioned some kind of closure on what happens to Killbane and Angel since it picked up on the "Save Shaundi" ending.

I think Killbane retired and played that Gangstas In Space together with the Saints after the end of saving Shaundi.

Do you have any specific ideas on how they could make them better?

If they are inclined on keeping mayhem (There is a certain addiction to the numbers flying off the screen) how about allowing you to choose different presets that challenge you to destroy the city in creative ways, and make it more engaging by making you think about how you will make enough to get gold. Perhaps allow you to choose a location to do it in, and if you get gold in all the presets, give you the option to customize the items your Character uses in it.

The Fight Club (or the idea behind it) would be nice to bring back. It was fun in 4, but a bit sloppy (they didn't seem to notice that the character pose at the beginning deforms your body horribly). The genki missions were fantastic, featuring some creative fighting scenarios. So, they could bring the best bits of Fight Club/Genki and wave mode (the phone calls are wave mode, so maybe add some actual people you need to help instead of invisible phone people) into a super fun thing that doesn't simply get boring. You could choose from arenas, genki courses, or city locales, and be given simple weapons at the start, and allow you to collect more and upgrade as you go through, via gifts or maybe some kind of exclusive friendly fire that only affects the mode (and vice versa) there could be boss battles in between, enemy variations, targets or things semi resembling the telekinesis ones in 4, balancing points and that super satisfying cash noise (I just love it for some reason). With allowing the player to modify aspects, and maybe an endless mode (or simply courses), maybe change aspects of the map.

It would be fantastic, and Volitions excellent writing and voice acting would have some time to go insane!

Its like, they could combine elements of activities to create much more dynamic situations, missions with flight or in the air could contain each others elements, have time limited enemies to take out (which are challenging or have a tactic to destroying them), things to catch in the air before they vanish, and variety simply depending on which aircraft (or mech, or super suit power or whatever) changes the position on how you fight. Perhaps you have to shoot items out in certain places for people to collect as well, it could constantly switch between different things (and actually not have the activity end in 1 minute with 3 to spare).

For whatever reason, I enjoyed the parkour activities in 4, perhaps they could add together more dynamically, you could run a track avoiding flames, then have to leap across platforms, then get on a bike obstacle course (or have to do tricks), then finish off with a retro tank boss battle!

Insurance fraud...hmm, I find it exceptionally easy now, I find myself flying into the air for minutes after the activities supposed to end. How do you add challenge to brutally injuring yourself... maybe simply hitting into cars just provides some points (even with air time which is so easy to accomplish), and challenge you to inflict suffering on yourself in bizarre and creative fashion (add some new hazards to the map, or if your car flying, challenge you to throw yourself targets or sections of buildings, maybe take a page out of GOOH with its awesome structures that have openings and ridges all across them, and challenge you to swing through them like barnstorming. (Imagine flying into an office building and fling across desks and cubicles!).

Few alright, those are improvement ideas based on already existing activities, but at the same time, it would be insane to accomplish all of this, and I don't know if budget or time will limit Volition (pleeeease take your time).

Also one thing:

Please don't chop parts just to add it as preorder DLC, which later on turns into paid DLC.

Be honest with your consumers and make DLC actually a DLC won't hurt. It just requires to swallow a little bit of greed.

I want a side activity where you are taking over gang hideouts similar to liberating outposts in Farcry 3 and 4 using stealth or action options... :d

Don't make player super powerful by giving them infinite ammo and health...It just kills the the fun...

Don't think Volition can pull of GTA Online level of multiplayer with SR5? ? But if possible then i would love to play a full on versus multiplayer in SR5... :D

Better and bigger player houses for S.P and M.P where you can invite other players..

Also, if possible i would love to play some challenging activities similar to Batman Arkham games challenges... :D

I thought that was an actor playing Killbane in Gangstas in Space? Like how Johnny was portrayed. Wouldn't make much sense to have the real Killbane in their movie when the majority of the game is focused on killing him.

A lot of people want the same things I want as far as game play goes. So i came up with these 8 games that I think volition should at least look at...

Saints Row: Age of Salvation (Civil War)

The Saints go back in time and rip off Zinyak’s god damn head again. The Saints stand before the world and tell them the story on how they saved earth, it backfires as their story is misinterpreted and makes it seem like the destruction of earth was their fault. The Saints, now hiding from the public in a run down city called New Hope, try to make a new name for themselves by clearing out the gangs in New Hope. The Saints are armed to the teeth with Zin tech to take their new city from the gangs. However, Johnny Gat refuses to wield the Zin Tech as it makes it too easy to kill. He likes things the way they used to be, with you know, GUNS! Which causes conflict between the saints. Some like the new way of doing things, others like the old way. OLD SCHOOL VS NEW SCHOOL.

Saints Row: Femme Fatale

Shaundi and Kenzie’s story takes place after the events of Salvation. The game takes place in New York City. Shaundi and Kenzie get sucked into crime again after a mafia encounter and the Women Of The Row take violent action to remain out of harms way what ever means necessary.

Saints BRO: The Sigma Knights [Expansion]

The new breed of Saints take their brass knuckles to campus as they fight to claim rivalry Frat houses.

Saints Row: Yakuza

Pierce and Ben go to Tokyo after the events of Salvation. Pierce is trying to regain his celebrity status and no one is buying Ben’s book. Pierce and Ben learn that fame in Tokyo is a dirty game. The Yakuza are a high end gang that run the entertainment industry. To work for them is to sell your soul. To compete with them is asking to die.

Saints Fro: Saving Sunnyvale [Expansion]

The prequel that shows the hard life of Julius Little before the Saints came to be in Stillwater.

Saints Row: Eschaton

Matt and Asha head back to Europe after the events of Salvation to rejoin MI6. Soon after, Asha and Matt are assigned to a case of an individual who is obsessed with mythology of all sorts and is trying to induce the apocalypse with an infectious disease capable of wiping out countries by the hour. It’s up to the Super Hacker and the Brawns to stop it.

Saints Row: Aloha Johnny! [Expansion]

After the events of Salvation, Johnny goes into retirement and settles in Hawaii. Johnny sparks new romance with an island native who is an undercover cop. Shit hits the fan and Johnny is forced out of retirement and takes the side of justice to take out some Hawaiian gang bangers.

I really like the last one. So many ways to poke fun at Hawaii 5-o. "after the events of salvation" is basically a civil war battle in case you got lost.

I CRAVE FEEDBACK!!! GIVE ME SOME
I don't know how that will work. Especially since Saints Row is all about creating your own custom character instead of using a pre-made one the developers came up with. The only other suggestion I have for this idea is a system like what we see in GTA 5. Where you can switch between the characters (your custom Boss, various lieutenants). As a matter of fact that could make the homie unlocks much more useful now that I'm thinking about it. As for the other ideas didn't SR2, and SR3 cover organized crime in the form of the Ronin and Morningstar?

I haven't worked out all the kinks and bugs yet. But as far as customization goes it will be limited like GTA 5 limited. Hair styles would be be limited, clothing limited. But with limited customization, you're able to have a better open world. And I liked the idea of gat out of hell (not the hell part) where you got to play as other homies. And I thought this would be something that could expand the SR universe to a more global approach. And maybe an exclusively mutiplayer game.

Well the thing is SR2 had both an amazing city design and a great character customization system. As a matter of fact customization options don't necessarily affect the open world. (Except for things like stores and cribs for obvious reasons). Besides the whole charm about Saints Row is that you can create your own character without the typical pre-made character rule that's so common in sandbox games for some reason. While character customization is almost always relegated to MMO's it has much more potential. Especially in the Open World genre. As for turning SR5 into a multiplayer game well we might have another Diablo 3 or Simcityc2013 fiasco.

The character customization is what sold it for me before, it would sell it for me again. The fact they recorded the same lines 7 times (although I would've preferred you could have chosen a bit) with different voice actors, shows some dedication many studios can't be bothered with.
