Gang Plus One (Saints Heroes Gang)

Tried the add-on (along with the new mod version) and is very niiicce! Having all those angel strippers dancing and sayibg "Wohooo!" in the cribs make the game more party^^
So is it possible to populate Angel and Kinzie cribs with gang members?

Cazzonero : Personnally I always have a Decker Specialist, a Red Genki, a Space Luchador and a random Guard (STAG)
For cribs however I don't think it is possible as it doesn't seem that we can modify the spawn system.

Also, I'd like to report a bug that may be quite useful : Sometimes when you customize your gang, the district in which you are may be temporarily reverted to not-owned (Fixed on reload : Restart the game or load a save), meaning that enemy members will spawn in this district - I haven't noticed any other effect.

Aww what a shame for the empty cribs: they always make me feel lonely^^
When i'm tired of all those angel i use a deckers specialist too (they are so cool) bloody cannoness, the ultor female assassin and... an angel stripper again ehehe Yes i like having only girls in the gang (it gets interesting in the safeword and casino because strippers dance for the girls ;)
 
Not always. I've noticed that in MANY cases a gang member has the appareance of a non-selected one. I don't know what it is related to, but it's cool.
Still, I always try to keep at least one male and one female type in my gang. Mostly 3-1, but sometimes 2-2 or even 1-3. Still, I love Random, and that would be cool if there was a "Totally Random" option.

This is not a mod issue. To put it short, the game goes all weird over the state of the city between save loads within the same session (reason why your phone homies remain unavailable after a game load).
This actually allows you to force enemy spawns at will. Launch SRTT, load a save then load that same save again from within the game (or quit to the main menu, doesn't matter). Loading a save made in a different crib/time or quitting the game reloads the city with proper saints spawns. Works in vanilla as well.
I haven't tested it, but in theory the "crowd" add-on coupled with this glitch may allow for simultaneous enemy/allies spawn.

You mean random colours? Or random models?
 
I didn't thought it was a mod issue, just a glitch, and thanks for explanation - now when I want to fight something i know what to do. :)

By random, I mean non-selected models. Random colors are normal. But this bug doesn't bother me, because I like some variety.

BTW, you should add the description of the crowd addon to the 1st post. I didn't upgraded to 1.0 - I always forget to set the gang back to normal IDs - but when I'll do I'd like to know if I take the addon.

Right. Tested, and it almost works the way I've described it. The hood where the crib is becomes populated with enemy gang members, which prevents Saints spawning even as idle groups. However, they will appear in the neighbouring hoods just fine. So, glitch the spawns, start shit with the gang, then move to the adjacent hood for some quality gang war.

As a side note, for some reason ambient Genki prefers stun gun over weapons in the "special" slot. Removing it makes him carry Sonic Boom and Airstrike as he was meant to. Fixing that in the next release.
 
Attached to the first post a quick fix/edit for the weapon loadouts. If anyone tests it and leaves some feedback, I'd very much appreciate that.
Applies to the "Tough" version (can work with fragile, yeah, but is not meant to).

- Fixes ambient Genki spawning with a stun gun instead of the Airstrike or Sonic Boom (his current loadout is an equal chance for an RPG, Sonic Boom, Cyber Cannon, Lucha Grenade Launcher or an Airstrike).
- Adjusts homie weapon loadouts as per the list below:
  • Shaundi/Sad Panda - 70% chance to arrive with D4TH Blossom SMGs, 30% chance for an Airstrike;
  • Pierce/Sexy Kitten - 100% Carbine;
  • Viola/Tammy - 95% Sniper Rifle, 5% Airstrike;
  • Zimos - 10% Riot Shotgun, 90% Rocket Launcher;
  • Kinzie/Angry Tiger - 50% Cyber SMGs, 50% Cyber Buster;
  • Josh Birk - 50% STAG Shotgun; 50% Sonic Boom;
  • Angel - 100% Luchadores' Grenade Launcher;
  • Mayor Reynolds - 90% Riot Shotgun, 10% Rocket Launcher;
  • Nyte Blayde - 50% STAG Rifle, 50% Sonic Boom;
