Gentlemen of Steelport Compilation

If it's any consolation, you're not alone. A lot of people are reporting that same problem on the forums.

I read that thread as well, I just don't have an account on those forums. Just my Steam ID.

Yah, "I'm following the Steam board and Volitions board.
Sure is a lot of people with issues after the patch.
Odd thing is I don't see any correlation based on hardware.
People with systems nearly identical to mine and the game no longer loads for them.
Intel or AMD CPU / GPU and mixes thereof all seem to be in the mix. So its something goofy .

For whatever reason it is working fine here.
Dumb luck I suppose.

Mine is running fine so far too, don't get it with all my mods i expected a problem.
I don't have any DLC's though so maybe it's a DLC issue?

For me the Gentlemen of the Row beta mod compilation creator(?) crashes every time i try to build my mods :/
I re-downloaded it but it still has the same problem.

Hmm, Odd. No idea why the creator would fail. Idol will have to weigh in.
Just here to report it (the latest one posted as of yesterday afternoon)
is working fine for me. It assembled my choices and I copied them over
to the pc/cache dir.
Game loads fine.

Are you seeing some sort of error? I just double click on the batch file to get a command
prompt window to open and let it do its thing.
Not running as admin or anything silly like that.

Did you unzip the package to a directory so that it retains the proper directory structure?
Then just fire up the batch file?

Yes i did that went into advanced mode made my decisions and it just "stopped working"
maybe its because of my choices?

It sounds like it's crashing when it gets to the point in the batch file where gibbed's tools are invoked. Make sure you have the latest version of the Microsoft .NET framework 4 installed that the tools require:
http://www.microsoft.com/net

Oy, yah, bet that is it.
A word of advice, be sure to run Windows update even though you just install that. Do not assume it has the latest security patches.

Sometimes you can get a package from MS that needs the latest and best security and package updates.
MS net is one of those things they update a lot.
