lmao thats funny

Both games are different now i guess to each there own but i still favor rockstar i have more trust there i guess the way cars look for example in gta vs saints row sr has weird boxy cars and i actually liked how they drove in 4 and i like gta's damage maybe its the long developement times i just start to distrust annual games less an less a long story is really all i care about and activities i think im gona have a great time robbing stuff in gta if they arent limited to story missions and can just keep setting up as many robberies as i want.

Both Rockstar and Volition will have my money for their games. However, Rockstar hasn't said yet when the PC version is available.

Probably a few months later, as usual when a GTA game comes out.

Hopefully this time, it won't be an un-optimized shite of a console port, and actually not lag on my PC. GTA IV PC fucking blew in the performance department.

I understand, but install patch 1.0.4.0. and it runs like a charm. Getting 60+ FPS with all setting on its highest. With photorealistic 7 enb series, a hq texture pack, 60+ hq car mods and hq effects and I still get 30+ fps. So I don't think I have a lot to complain about.

I'm looking forward to both Grand Theft Auto V and Saints Row 4. This discussion lately is like idiot kids arguing what's best: The Xbox or the Playstation?... *smacks head*. I miss the over-the-top antics of GTA: San Andreas, but the Saints Row franchise has filled that void and done it exceptionally well.

Now, given that statement, GTA: V looks really promising. The graphics look less drab, the characters look interesting, and their seems to be a good diversity in mission structure. GTV: IV felt a little repetitive although I dearly loved the game on the console and PC (PC more, thank you mods!). It's the little things that make a game enjoyable to me. The world needs to be "alive" and GTA: V seems to be heading in a great direction in this sense.

GTA V seems to have it all. From blimps to submarines. From bikes to huge airplanes. A huge, living openworld ranging from a huge breathing city full of life, to a countryside filled with little setlements, not to mention the underwater exploration. 3 playable characters. Tons of weapons + attachements. Tons of minigames... There's just so much in that game.

Yes, but 'seems' may well be the key word. GTA4 seemed great too remember. To some it is. To others we can't stand it. I'm waiting until it's out, and even then gonna ask a few people what it's really like, check some of the independent reviewers who aren't strongarmed by R* into high reviews (it's not bribery, it's extortion. As in 'if you don't review the game at least x score, we stop giving you free early review copies', so naturally they do because it's that or they never get to review another game from $Publisher again)
Then I'll see. Maybe. Dragon Age 2 had good reviews and was by a dev I trusted, and no one mentioned all the horrid stuff (although actuially the PC Gamer review noted all the problems, and was very critical, and didn't really like the gmae. But the end score was suddenly 92 like the editor said "Sorry but they're EA, it rates good" without changing the article). In turn, I still haven't trusted 'Bioware' (read: EA) enough to play Mass Effect 3, and a lot of the cries of the ending just confirmed that.
Considering how I didn't like GTA4, GTA5 has to earn my support and trust. It's an uphill fight.

I totaly have to agree with you that GTA IV sucked ass. That game was so boring. However, GTA VC and SA on the (GTA IV) RAGE engine are damn awesome mods though.
