Have you used Volition's Table File Editor?

I've been trying to use TFE for my Motor Madness mod. I've copied my tables into an extracted misc vpp working folder. Seems to work fine for most table files I've edited, however when I attempt to open a modded vehicle table, TFE throws an error for not finding vehicle_table_description.xml. Screenshot:

The tool seriously needs updated for SR4, as far as SR2 goes, this tool works. Maybe Volition could redo the tool but for each Saints Row game in the series.

Yes. Volition didn't include an updated Table File Editor for SR4 in Zinyak's Cache of Wonders, the SR4 Modding SDK pre-release, unfortunately.

moof posted a video from Volition about car handling in SR3 and SR4, and they show this Table File Editor in the video (near the beginning).

It has some nice features like validation, drop-down boxes and hover text help.

Thanks for the heads-up on this tool. Nice one to have indeed.

Just an FYI that it can't load a commented XTBL -- basically that contain <!--comment-->. Tested with SR2's though, can't say with others'.

Not a valid float error in unmodded file. Why?
