Current graphics card: Radeon hd 6670 New one : Asus Radeon hd r9 270x Edit: i haven't bought it yet i'm looking for suggestions if you think there is a better one i could get suggest it My price range is 190 to 250

Well, judging by the broad estimate given by this site http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php I would say it's a good choice for that price range. 4387 points for $200 is very reasonable, I think. The GTX 680 gets 5703. I'm not really hip to recent developments in video card lore, since I probably won't be shopping again for a few years yet.

I give you a high five on the 670. I have a EVGA 660 SC and it's flawless......so far! Of course all I ask is 60 fps, at max settings on everything. So far, so good.

Hello.

Since we're all talking about graphics card here, I'm curious about one thing. How do you look at a graphics card and know which one is stronger than the other? Is it that the higher the numbers in the series mean it's stronger? For example, between "GeForce GT 625M" and "GeForce GT 555M" which one is stronger?
