Is Saints Row Modding Dead?

I tried porting some clothing items back and forth between 3 and 4, to no avail. 4 just immediately crashes, 3 will work, but if you try to load up a save with a character wearing one of the ported items it either buggers up the morph or outright crashes the game.

well yes because the clothing item doesn't exist you can do this with some items though like gat's outfit and the fireman out fit but it's just cause they don't exist so the game detects it as an error and crashes

also i do agree the mods are getting kind of the same-ish and or need improvement and without sdk it isn't possible and we've been waiting for a long time and it's just becoming kind of a broken promise i know it isn't but it's kind of annoying even though i don't make mods i was going to try to with blender making weapons when the sdk came out and shit but yea not gonna be possible for a while
