Most annoying things in the SR Series?

Well, since this "is" a PC modding forum/community... Console users really shouldn't be complaining here, they should be complaining to M$ and SONY since those two are the reason console users can't mod their games.
From what i've heard Overkill (the guys behind the Payday series) sadly deals with similar bullshit regarding Microshaft and SCAMMY. Which is why the console port of Payday 2 has far less content than the PC version.
Going back on topic one thing that bugged me in SR4 was the fact that they removed most of the landmarks from Virtual Steelport. It doesn't really make any since especially since SR4 runs on the same engine as SR3.

Most of those landmarks were buildings belonging to the Saints - and the idea was Zinyak had removed all traces of the Saints from the simulation.

the continuous downgrading of things to do in the open world, compared to SR2, is a big one. I can still fire up SR2, walk around in the city, and see unique stuff happening, then go play one of many diversions or activities. I've given Volition the benefit of the doubt up to this point given the problems with THQ, but I'm going to be really disappointed if Saints 5 doesn't have at least a city the size and variety of Stilwater with lots of stuff to do. I don't care about tone or plot, I just want a game that I can waste time in.

I'm gonna hope they do something non-derpy though. But I'm afraid they would.

SR1-SR2: Stilwater
SR3-SR4: Steelport
SR Gat out of Hell: New-small-hell-town-i-forgot-the-name
SR5: ????

I hope it's not hell-heaven business..

I think I read an Interview somewhere about GooH (I think IGN) and I'm not sure if it was Steve (or someone else) and they said "Gat out of Hell" was A) Not Canon to the Main Saints Row Universe and B) A Spin-off.

That's normally common with spin-offs, normally the developers that do a spin-off to another/or their series (i.e Age of Mythology to Age of Empires, both by Ensemble Studios) they tend to not consider them canon to the Main Universe.

Much as people have said They want Gat Out of Hell to be in a separated universe from the main-game, but then the only way for Volition to really count the game as Spin-Off, Not have Jezebel/Hell References in SR5.

Back onto the topic, What annoyed me (and many fans of the older games) was that Volition went into a massive shift of the Fun/Realistic Balance (The 50/50) to Utter, Over-The-Top (25/75, 10/90 etc) but that classic balance will most likely never return...unless Volition want SR5 to kick GTA 5's Dying corpse, by going back to that classic style (Pissing off newer fans, and pleasing GameSpot)

Well, GTA5 was 'kinda' up to expectation, yet it has it's own 'puff'. Besides, Rockstar been bullcrapping a lot. So, yeah. GTA5 isn't king.

But, if Volition really do want to beat GTA5, I hope they can stay humble instead of acting like Watch Doge, which later on they only got sprayed on for talking too much but can't deliver sh*t.

Wait, this is not wishlist thread.

Okay back to topic. Found something annoying about SR3 Mayhem which I did it in Co-Op and failed many times because the streets were empty. And every-f*cking-time there's a civilian car (not police, not gangster), the driver can stand a headshot and turn their slow moving car into F1 and run away. Wtf???

Incorrect. Gat out of Hell is absolutely 100% canon.
