Most annoying things in the SR Series?

There were a couple parts in SR3 that confused me. The first part was Johnny's funeral. Why did his funeral take place during a bridge opening that was named after the guy who tried to kill the protagonist in the first game?

Another part of the game that I didn't get was during Convoy Decoy/Stag Party. The gang apparently moved out of the Saints HQ to avoid STAG but in Stag Party you go back to the Saints HQ (on a different level) to deal with STAG, but it is implied that the Saints evacuated that area in the previous mission.

SR3's story was all over the place. IIRC it was because they had to rewrite it due to THQ not liking certain parts of it.

From what I can tell, the Saints were transporting Gat's "body" (yet another weirdness considering he's alive and well) back to Stilwater and were simply unaware of the ceremony

The Hughes were mayor and Monica was one of them. She must be doing it in respect of her ancestor.

About Gat, everyone assumed and sure he was dead in the plane. The body was never found, however. So they were gonna do the ceremonial like how they did with Aisha.

About the HQ, the main crib was pretty much destroyed. I would assume they only moved the important equipments to another places while they still hang around the main crib for meeting point.

Sci-Fi and Aliens (I would've liked demons)

The full-tilt diminishing relevance of modern hip-hop

The Boss being treated like a dumbass/getting less respect than the lieutenants

Open world maps never better than Stilwater

Seeing SR2 on Youtube, I can see how alive that map is. And then, probably the town doesn't look like copy-paste.

Steelport looks like New York, which also looks similar to GTAIV's Liberty City. PS2 era GTA also had towns redesigned and compressed and it looks much more unique compared to the more "copy-paste" like in IV and V.

Yeah that could have been written better, it's implied that it was in fact Johnny's actual funeral though, especially since Shaundi mentions it right after The Luchadores destroy the bridge. It seems that the writers wanted to tie Monica Hughes into the story and that's what they came up with.

Wait if Monica at this point was still with the Saints then why did she send STAG after them? Granted they explain it SR4, in a homie conversation that was cut from the final game. Yet that alone raises even more questions.

I don't think she sent STAG directly at the Saints, just to gangs in general since she didn't know who exactly destroyed the bridge. Her goal was to stop gang violence, not just the Saints. Remember later in the game Killbane tries to frame the Saints for the bridge destruction so it might seem that Monica Hughes targets them more than the Syndicate.

By the way, which homie conversation is it?

Cyrus' conversation, if I'm right. He says about Stag, Monica, and Saints.

Here's a few more:

(1) Genki. I'm sorry, I'm just getting tired of this character. At first the concept of a murderous man-cat was hilarious, but now it's completely dried out. Nyteblade's a close second, but at least it isn't as 'in-your-face' as Genki.

(2) How the Saints Saved Christmas. While the DLC was fun and heartwarming, I can't really get the timeline straight. So Future!Shaundi goes back in time to warn everyone about an evil Santa that is about to enslave everyone, yet the whole DLC takes place within a simulation. So how is Future!Shaundi real if everything else is apparently in a simulation? And if she was real, how come we never met the other Saints from her time?

(3) As another poster said: zombies in Saints Row the Third.
