New DLC Pack - Hey Ash Whatcha Playin?

it's a web comedy series about videogames, basically. Ash played Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2, which was written by her brother Anthony. Papa Burch is their IRL dad and consistently the funniest character on the show because of his deadpan line readings

REALLY? that is very interesting. i MAY consider getting it.... mainly because i friggen LOVE tiny tina... but not for a while. i wanna support this actress to play more eccentric characters in the future, hell, i wouldnt mind her as a voice for the boss in a future game (i can picture her voice yelling BURN ALL THE BABEHS!!!"

Are you kidding me? o_O They want three damn euro for three homies (that are completely the same as all other) only because they look like these guys from Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin' (which I even don't watch)? It should be free, like CheapyD Pack...

EDIT:
well, Idol did mention meeting Ash at Volition HQ a few weeks ago

I think it's perfect, to be honest. HAWP did at least two videos on SR3 (maybe 3), so they're clearly big fans of the series. And I guarantee people will buy this pack for Papa Burch alone.
XD

'The fuck is this? I wouldn't pay any amount of money to have a Youtube video game critic in my game, especially not Ash with that creepy dead-eyed stare of hers. This is dumber than the Cheapy D DLC.

Who even uses homies in SR4 anyway? They can never keep up with you, are almost pathetically useless in combat, and you spend most of your time babysitting and resurrecting them. More of a liability than anything else.

nah, THQ would come up with something like a "Penthouse Pets pack"

at least this HAWP pack has relevance to an extent
But hey, for that you need to pay 1 euro more. You can't have "relevance" for free. :p
Penthouse Pack - four characters, 2,50 euro.
Hey Ash Whatcha Playin'? Pack - three characters, 3 euro.

EDIT:
It looks like that:
  • In Penthouse Pack one character costs 50 cents.
  • In Hey Ash Whatcha Playin'? Pack one character costs 1 euro.
So it seems like we have to pay 50 cents more for every character from that second pack... let me guess what Volition thought:
Someone from Volition said:
But hey, guys! They are famous guys from YouTube, we can't just sell them as cheap as Penthouse bitches!

I think you're looking too much into this. Almost every DLC pack has been $3, so it's safer to say that's just the standard price rather than them charging a certain amount per character or something. And the Penthouse pack was pure schlock. That's why one should be insulted that they would charge any amount for something like it. Flippy's rant about it was pretty on-point.

At least people can say they're fans of HAWP and justification can be found in paying for this pack; I won't be buying it (at least until it's cheaper, because like shitface I barely use homies), but unlike the other DLC packs I've yet to buy at least I love the idea behind it.
