Shitface, I bet you haven't read my page since you just said that. Read it, and shut it.

Anders, stop being so antagonistic towards everyone who doesn't feel the same way. This is a very niche thing you're requesting that certainly won't appeal to most modders/players. Shitface actually has a good point that you should learn to use the tools yourself if you ever want this to happen.

How come? I mean - I ain't up for the challenge since scripting is just words that has been organized in a really f..... up way, so I share my ideas for everybody to copy as they wan't. And I really defend my ideas, because if one man's impression of the idea is balls - the rest of em' will usually follow his opinion if he's got arguments. That's why I try as hard as I can to find a loophole in his arguments and try to convince any addtional readers to actually embrace the idea as a possibility to create an alternative way of playing this superb game by Volition.

- So tell me, why is it that people/modders/players hate realism so bad? I mean, at least in SR3. I know, I know - the whole game itself is basicly screwed up with crazy mascots running around with dildos beating up hobos n' shit, but why not alter with the unrealistic bits that are simply too retarded? Just sayin', and I know I shouldn't be all like "Why not do that, n' that shit, n' that shit" because it might be just about impossible...But sure, then why not try before giving up? And again, I could try - and believe me, I have.

NOTE: Saints row ISNT for the serious people. if you want a realistic game throw SRTT away and start camping in CODMW3.

Why'd you get banned? Anyways; there's serious people out there. Else, why'd this thread get so many views? Because that people like to troll, yeah sure. That's like 200 of em', but the rest is people who seem to take interest.

Pirating the game, apparently. Tsk. While I admit it does become prospecting some time when they sell us the game piecemeal, at least it's still good content for the price. And at the very least buy the base game even if you'll never get the dlcs! Seriously!

Anyways.. I'm sure there's serious people out there.. the trouble is I don't think "realism" is the term you want here, you want a harder experience. Less regen and not so much the "fridge on legs" feel of being bulletproof standing in middle of gunfire and soaking it up as you hail them with bullets in turn. Yeah, I can understand some of that.. not sure how the tuning supports it though. Less health and regen, possibly.. but stumbling on shot might be more trouble.. hm.

Well, anyways, good luck looking into that.. I don't like that sort of gameplay. I like Saints Row as is, it is over the top silly unrealistic and enjoys every minute of it. But if you prefer more gritty dangerous slow deadly shooters power to you. Might be the wrong game to try, but who knows. (There's always the GTA series which seems to adore it's "dark and gritty" idea over, you know, FUN ;) )

Yah, I did a 2nd playthru and dint' pick all the foolish (IMO) bulletproof invulnerable type perks.
I made a error on my 1st and picked them, mainly to make the damn annoying popups to go away.
By that time the mod was out that suppressed popups like that so the 2nd play thru was much nicer when I didn't' pick so many perks
that boosted 'respect' and reduced damage, nor most of the instant reloads and infinite ammo. Though for just fooling around at end game I do enjoy
infinite ammo for pistols only.

If it had been me, I'd have pushed game design in Sr3 to put a series of damage reduction steps in at higher levels short of
god mode cheat. For some reason they just said, frag it, give em invulnerable. Yawn!

For more damaging 'challenge' and just plain screwing around, I find Luchradores, tick them off old school or just now may use the mod cheat to tick them off,
and get them to bring out the grenade launchers enmasse. Bring along 3 homies and let them pick those up. Try to keep standing when things get carried away.
Dont bring a tank, thats cheating. Haha.

What would be great on this area is the abillity to uncheck upgrades after you once activated them. Or just start a new game and dont get any of the upgrades.

Yeah, indeed - but that could be done with a command that turned all of those perks off with the difficulty setting, or you might cuztomize it so it'd only remove perks you select. (If you like things such as money income)

Heh, I like the infinite pistol ammo, but that is about it. xD Just gonna get some upgrades like faster health recharge.
