Rockstar and Take-Two fight against modders (locking Online content in the singleplayer)

GTA:MP - Update 9. December 2015 said:
In last month we had two phone calls with Take 2 Interactive. A third one was scheduled in the end of November. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to get in touch with our contact at Take 2 as his phone number does not exist anymore and we do not get responses from emails. We tried to get in touch over other employees at Take2 and Rockstar but there were no way to do so.

Yesterday, 2 developers of the remaining FiveM mod, who decided to continue it’s development and do not follow Take2’s request to shut their project down, got visited by private investigators again. This time, they had a C&D (cease & desist) letter and one of two developers signed it.
For me they just beat Electronic Arts in the worst gaming company title, fucking congratulations.

If anything my only main gripe is how a lot of the good story missions seem to be centered around everyone's favorite Canadian Walter White expy while Not!Frank West and Not!CJ's Son have missions that typically consist of more "standard" affairs such as dealing with an obnoxious son\friend or getting into shootout in the middle of Not!Los Angeles.

Secondly I didn't really enjoy how much of a glass cannon the three main characters are, especially coming from someone who's played a lot of Just Cause 2, Saints Row and Prototype. (Although I could just suck at the game)

Oh and don't even get me started on the aircraft...
i dont know how to mod GTA sandreas like selecting random characters

If anyone had any doubts that Rockstar and Take-Two are goddamn douchebags when it comes to modding, they just locked vehicles from the latest DLC so they cannot be spawned in the singleplayer without fucking around with dlc package file. New weapons are also unselectable if you add them to the inventory. Bravo, that's such a fucking good move towards all the fans... I can't believe they sank so low after GTA V being such a great success.

Sadly Rockstar has a nasty habit of butchering their own damn pc ports for no reason other than "because they can". For example how later Rockstar games released on pc had that dumbass Social Club drm, how the company took a chainsaw to the pc version of San Andreas, and let's not forget how much of a fucking circus it is to install mods for GTA 4.

The thing is, they put this lock purposely to force people to play Online and *maybe* buy a fucking Shark credit card just to check out the new vehicles and weapons. I really wouldn't expect them to be so fucking greedy to start preventing people from using Online content in the singleplayer, that's extremely low. Not even Electronic Arts pulled such stunt.

I'm glad Volition isn't that way. Volition and Deep Silver love their fans and stand behind their fans unlike Rockstar!
