SAINTS OR SINNERS-Idea for new saints row series

If SR5 does indeed have destruction physics I doubt it would be detailed as Geomod. Especially A. it was the main reason why Mars in RFG wasn't nearly as dense and detailed as say Stilwater and B. Red Faction is now owned by Nordic Games, which means Geomod is Nordic property. So in reality it probably be more in the lines of what we see in games like Just Cause, Battlefield, Infamous or Mercenaries where only certain buildings or pieces of said building can be destroyed.

they could make it where they halfway copy geomod adding nwew stuff to the code and there everybodys happy no lawsuits

Than Saints Row V on new engine.
Let's just hope it's an engine that isn't a mess of hardcoded nonsense and missing features. Especially since the reason why so much stuff was cut from SR3 was that the engine was a pain in the ass to work with compared to the previous ones Volition used.

Here's some ideas I had for special enemies.
Heavy Response Soldier: Cladded head-to-toe in a heavy EOD suit; this unit comes equipped with a TEK-50 Light Machine Gun. In terms of appearance they look similar to the "Juggernaut" enemies featured in the Call of Duty series (More specifically the futuristic "Ghost" variant).

Riot Unit: Armed with a grenade launcher that can shoot both live and "less-than-lethal" munitions or a heavy ballistic shield that lessens damage from bullets and melee attacks; these units are used as support troops or are often sent in to quell any sort of protest. Violently.

Operator: These guys act as field commanders for the factions. They can often be identified by their gang\law enforcement colored berets. When in combat they can buff any nearby units which in turn causes them to become more aggressive, boost HP, inflict more damage or improve their overall accuracy. However when an Operator is killed the opposite occurs. Enemies will become more cowardly, they will inflict less damage, have less HP and all-in-all have what we call "Stormtrooper Aiming".

Man, what?

So far i like the emp blast. But i think the rest is kind of off the wall and just an exageration of the prior game play. And no offense but insulting the hard coding volition uses isn't very smart. From what i have seen comparing volition, origin, uplay and any other game provider i would have to say volition has the most realistic gameplay and 3d environment i've seen yet.
