Saints Row 2 vs Saints Row 3: A Fan Wishlist

Totally! That would be so awesome! Then you get the fun based missions in Steelport, and the more dark, realistic missions in Stilwater. A super plot twist! The boss got gravely injured on that plane and the only way to save her ( My boss is female... ) was to put her mind to a machine so she wouldn't go braindead or something, and in her mind she created Steelport. In the realworld, Johnny, Shaundi and Pierce are working around to clock to bring the boss back out of there before she completely looses her mind. And now Aliens start to invade steelport, she is the president of the US... she is clearly going bat shit insane. so they have to get her out of there before she dies in her own mind and goes braindead forever!!

So after EtD she is pulled out finally and you have to get used to the real world again, but for some reason she took the experiences with her she gained in Steelport. So they recreate Saints Flow that actually does work in the real world ( Bat shit insane, you said? Phuh! ) as an added extra. Plus all the crazy combat moved and such, they'll recreate the Dub Step weapon, and all the other over the top weapons she thought up in Steelport. :D

Then you have a Matrix meets Inception scenario. Could be fun.

If SR: 4's setting will be Stillwater (which it won't -__-) it could allready be a much better game. Steelport is just so boring and bland.

I don't care much for fomiting over people, or doing it a bathroom stall. Must be a guy thing. :p It's totally okay for others to miss that stuff, of course. He was right about Shaundi, though, inexplicably having become a 'snooty bitch' all of a sudden. On the Saints Row forums people love to refer to her as the 'preppy bitch from hell.' As a random personage she wasn't even half bad; but she wasn't the cool, Eliza Dushku voiced, laid-back stoner, who became my best friend in SR2, any more.

What *I* did miss from SR3 was a decent city, primarily. Steelport just sucks: it's a 'copy and paste' build, with essentially maybe like 3 distinct city areas. Stilwater, otoh, was downright brilliant. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually used real city architects to design it. So. yeah, what we need is a Stilwater Revival.

Oh, and I loved to shop in Stilwater! And some of the interior designs were just downright magnificent! The fact that you even had different 'levels' of shops was just awesome. From 'Sloppy Seconds' to that fancy Jove store -- accordingly located in sloppy parts of the city vs. more uptown areas, respectively.

[rant]And yeah, some lame-ass excuse why they couldn't use layered clothing any more. I say 'lame-ass' on purpose, as whatever the technical reason behind it is, I dismiss it out of hand, as any 'new' engine that can do less than the previous one, is just designed wrong from the get-go. Period. Something about complex gestures. Who the frak even cares about those?! I just want my fancy clothes back! (many of which were courtesy of IdolNinja's fantastic GoR mod)[/rant]

Amen to that!

Now that was something they realy did right. It also made much sense.
