Saints Row 4 First Person View *ALPHA STAGE*

Got some good and bad news friends. My Oculus Rift has finally hit my doorstep and while I am still heavily inexperienced with this device I can tell you that at this moment in time I can not get support for SR4 until the driver I am using gets Direct X 10/11 support.

Good news is that tests show SRTT has a solid 8/10 head tracking and about a 7/10 stereo rendering. Which is a fancy way of saying that the head tracking is good and the 3d view from the headset is actually decent. I intended to make this message a couple of hours ago but I got lost in the rift when I started a new SRTT game. That's a pretty good sign. Once I'm done playing with the Rift as if it's some sort of really expensive toy I shall start working on SRTT's oculus support and when the guys over at mtbs3d's development section finally complete Direct X 10/11 support I shall switch over to that.

I don't usually comment on topics like these but this one deserves one! One of the best mod I've installed so far even though it's in alpha stage. Completely changes the game experience. I would really recommend this mod. Though I notice a slight headless view of myself while running and gliding. Still very good job for an alpha! Waiting for a final release soon :p Also when you enter 'The Real World' you usually become bald and go in third person view.

Am i the only one who have my character's head wont disappear after wearing fleur necklace ?

Some outfits will have that issue like the Retro Shaundi one. Try switching your clothes and see if it works.

my game still crashes. tried both uploaded versions, tried with out the weapons_costumes.xtbl, with and without other mods installed. it just keeps crashing after intro logo's when it says its "saving"
what do?

Might be a dumb question, but does this work on SR:TT too?

I'll take a look at it when I get home doge. There was some DLC releases recently so it's possible that the mods outdated.

Also instance if you follow the links I posted in the Oculus SRTT thread there's a link to BadMad's fps mod. It's a touch outdated and bullet hit decals are removed but it works.
