Saints Row IV Re-Elected on PC

No issues with EPIC for me, no spyware as some claim. Game running nicely through Steam
If you already got Epic account or don't have an older save then i can see why you're not having any issues. I can create a new save game just fine, but i'm not about to start new frigging campaign. Also, the game will not let me continue. I keep getting this annoying screen to link my steam and epic accounts, oddly enough i don't have one... but i can close it down, but it will pop back again after 30 seconds and it just keeps asking me to do it to continue.

The crossplay is a joke
"Want to play with Epic users? You need to have an Epic account"
"Want to play with Steam users only? You still need to have an Epic account"

It's so funny, because Epic goes out of their way to force or sneak their crap on Steam... but they hate Valve and block Steam related stuff on their store... I don't understand why Gabe and staff allow this sort of Fuckery.

true how many game was remove on steam and add epic games for free or pay ,dev. start kiss epic games fucking hands right u know what i mean

you know i was wondering if this update was some kinda attempt at a mea culpa/damage control from Deep Silver what with the reboot's reception and all, but if that was the case you'd expect them to quadruple down on making sure everything is 100% tested and running perfectly. instead they went ahead and released it like this, mods "should" be working and all but hey we made no promises fellas, pretty funny

My game was running like shit, at first. But now it's running almost better than the Workshop build.
So here's what I did:
1 Backedup saves.
2 Unsubscribed from all Workshop mods, and removed all mods from the game.
3 Started a new game
4 Ahem, Installed my patch (this mostly isn't a flex, I extracted the Re-Elected files and manually ported the mods over so they work. Also, the mods includes a .bat that auto-removes all mods.
5 manually re-downloaded and subscribed to Workshop mods one at a time, so I know what does and doesn't work.
And the game runs fine

Thanks! But appears in the new version the save format has changed, since the game now is refusing to load any old existent savegames (including 100% ones) as the game just flat-out quits / shutdown when trying to load an one...

The site need do get a brand new saves that are compatible and can be loaded with the new build without quitting to desktop...
