Saints Row online

No, no and no. I'm tired of multiplayer, let alone that one found in GTA IV. I would like developers to put more their time and resources into single player mode. Co-op is absolutely okay in my opinion.
 
I don't think an MMO is necessary. IMO all I want to see is the same level of stuff to do as SR2 had, maybe along with an increase in co-op players from 2 to 4

To be fair GTA Online is basically SA:MP combined with mission markers for Deathmatch/TDM/missionmode/racing/etc. It's hands down the best crime based multiplayer game out there right now, at least when the rockstar cloud servers are actually running smoothly.

R* did a fantastic job in the gamemode itself; although it does seem like theyve tried to emulate SAMP

GTAO will never match SAMP and heres why;

SAMPs stunting maps are absolutely loaded with extra mapping and extra physics mods which make it a blast just to razz up with a mate

16 player cap; An old server I used to play called Pug's RL-RPG which had 40+ players on the server at one time; I don't know about anyone else but having 4 different gangs of 5 all after the same cashbox is a hell of a time

Also now in 2013 8/9 years after the games pc release 10,000s of players still active daily amongst 100s of different servers, GTAO will be dead in, I give it 3-4 years

Furthermore, one of the main reasons is that the user is never limited to what they want to do.

It all depends on the user whether they would like to use certain scripts to make their gamemode interesting.

I'd like to see a saints row online game mode like gta5 has. I remember some of the PC QA staff were talking about working on a quake type game mode in the sr4 fps thread. Perhaps with mod tools such a thing may be possible for modders to recreate.

Nobody in QA is working on anything. We just talked about it as a neat idea.
