Very True! The only thing about that is Some people wouldn't remember to backup their file, And not everyone knows how to tweak Weapons on/off. So if it could have its own code such as P+/ TO enable on and off that would be pretty cool! I for one have much more fun with combat in this game then Gun fights! Hopefully Idol comes across this.
 
Question, why does your RPG Launcher can only carry 8 RPG? I thought 'magazine size' was the parameter that handle this. Am I wrong? I made a mod that replace RPGs with VTOL Missiles and in the actual version i'm playing with, I have a 99 missiles magazine size.

Erase all the files in the root (not the maps), and verify intergrity on Steam.
Or copy your entire root into some map in documents, if you have a modded backup.

Try to fiddle with that in sr3_city.lua... there you can make such commands.

Im just saying when i put the ammo for my RPG to anything above 8 on automatic my game would crash. Im not saying it will for everyone im saying it did for me, So out of caution for everyone elses game i set it to minimum so everyones game can be worry free. by all means whatever works for you do it.

Very interesting! I actually spoke to idol about this, But he told me that lua commands work diffrently then tweaks and told me it would be impossible :(. I still randomly poke around to see if i can come up with something..... But thanks for your post :)

There's an 'unlimited ammo' flag you can use. Sure, it's infinite, but at least more than 8.^^
 
Hi LilWily, you may want to go into spawn_info_ranks.xtbl and reduce the players knockdown points. I've been using just 200 rather than 2000 for awhile now and if I don't fight back, I'll usually get knocked to the ground after about 3 blows. Twink with it a bit and find a value that suits you.
 
If you don't want to fall on the ground after 3 punches change the knockdown points in the spawn info rank of the player. Or the melee damage multipier in the other ranks.

I want to fall down after 3 blows, that's why I changed the value. It's looks ridiculous when you can take blow after blow and still remain standing.
