Sandbox+ for Saints Row IV

@akirahades :

gang_customization.xtbl <--gang customization, add or remove vehicles, which NPC gang character is spawned (all tied into the other tables below) You'll want to make sure that whichever vehicle you choose has a "saints" version...not all do.

homies.xtbl <--flag whether they spawn with vehicle (see HOMIES_DRIVEUP in this table to see it flagged)
character.xtbl <--gang color for spawned NPC (flag)
spawn_info_groups.xtbl <--type of vehicle to be spawned with and where and to what group/rank they belong.
spawn_info_ranks.xtbl <--ranking (badass or not badass gang member), loadouts (see "GRUNT" in this table for the gangs' rankings and loadouts, as well as main characters -Kinzie, Gat, Pierce, etc)

If you just want more/different gang vehicles, the first table listed above is where to start. Unless you change some flags in the other tables, you MUST chose vehicles that have a "Saints" version. At least I think that's the way these all work. If I am wrong, someone please point it out.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!
can you give me any example files for me to learn . Because I did not see a cipher text code gang_customization.xtbl

Download these tools, extract them via 7-Zip (or any other file archiver app), launch 'ThomasJepp.SaintsRow.ExtractPackfileGUI.exe', press 'Extract' button, go to ..\Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV\packfiles\pc\cache and choose 'misc_tables.vpp_pc'. Then run this app again and extract 'patch_compressed.vpp_pc'. You see, 'patch_compressed.vpp_pc' includes updated files so you should always check there first. If it doesn't contain the file you're looking for, go to 'misc_tables.vpp_pc'.
You can open all XTBL files via regular Windows notepad but I'd highly recommend Notepad++ - it's way smarter and handier. Check the files mentioned by MOTOSXORPIO, you can find list of vehicle names here. I can send you some example entries later. :)

i have no idea were to post about it, but i have no background music and don't know how to find the source

EDIT: well nvm, it's back, but it's still strange, there's no ambient background music till you finish the first mission or get your powers or something, or maybe it's a zone that has issues, gonna have to look up some more

Do you have original Sandbox+ or my version? Some people reported audio issues in my version already, I'm pretty sure they're related to audio memory. Try to remove 'audio_banks.xtbl' file and check if this still happens. Just keep in mind it will break Sandbox+ on-foot radio and disable sound effects for some commands.

This can happen randomly as well. I've had total audio silence during intense mission play. What changes are made in audio_banks, may I ask?
I preloaded soundbanks from M02 (A Pleasant Day), M09 (The Saints Flow) and M15_1 (Saints of Rage, Welcome Back). This way I could put music from those missions in Sandbox+ on-foot radio and I also used some sound effects. :)

i removed that, but no change, i wonder if it's embedded in the save now. As a side note the tower climb effect is silent too, when you punch the top, although the hotspots do play it

Does the audio work properly if you remove Sandbox+ completely?

i reinstalled and only added the extended wardrobe + clothes fix and customization clothes and vehicles colours, but it's still the same, i am using the same saves though

Edit: and i finally removed everything and started a new game... still the same, how? i remember playing and having ambient almost constantly, what happened, it's as if whatever triggers there were in the city, they don't work.... i'm stumped
