It's just the ring. In a mission (like muderbrawl for example,) all enemy groups are scripted in a linear fashion in the mission itself. They wouldn't exist in the open world at all.
Additional brute animations are now working for the player. The head down charge knocking cars out of the way and also the animation of picking up and throwing objects. These are only the anims so far though, but it's a big step in the right direction.
