Shitface's Weapon Re-Balance Mod

There's something I've been meaning to ask since that update with the invisible riot shield. Since it's possible to make "new" weapons based off existing weapons, would it be possible to make different upgrade levels of weapons into their own separate weapons? Like maybe separate Krukov level 1 and level 4 (with the grenade launcher) so it not only gives the illusion of there being more individual weapons, but also so that a person doesn't have to go back to the Save Editor every time they want to use a basic assault rifle instead of a full-power one with a grenade launcher.
 
I'm loving your mod and I have been using the old version in gos so I updated to this one except now all decker gang members swords and the specialist hammer are now invisible. I'm going to keep playing and search for some brutes to make sure they have their heavy weapons but any hints on what I may have done wrong or what I could do to fix it would be much appreciated. I am using GoS in patch mode with this update and your NPC behavior mod. Now I haven't beat Deckers.Die and do not have the sword unlocked so my first guess was that this may although very unlikely have something to do with it. Id also like to know what to change to not have cyber gang members in open world as I haven't made it to that part of the story and they seem out of place with all the hipsters lol and for entertainment value maybe how to make all decker gang members except specialist cyber men with I know unlikely but avatars as specialists.
 
I had to hide the decker swords and hammers from their backs to work properly with the changes to how players and NPCs use them. Regular Deckers and Specialists can still use them though, they just equip them when they are attacking with them. Brutes' usage of their weapons has not been changed, as they are projectile weapons and not melee weapons. If you want to unlock the sword, just kill Deckers grunts until one of them drops a sword. Sometimes a civilian will be carrying one, too.

If you want to make Cyber deckers not spawn in the open world, just delete them from the Deckers gang list in spawn_info_groups.xtbl. The ones that spawn in the open world are also very different looking from the ones in deckers.die, as the effects used on them in that mission are not loaded in free roam. I'm probably going to keep them for now, because a lot of people like having them in the open world.
 
Ok that make sense thanks! *edit* I found them anyways but it's actually in character.xbl as I compared yours to pixel's as its the only reference material I had and the difference was in character where you changed their Spawn_Info_Rank and Team to decker instead of Civilian. I only bring it up in case someone else wants to do the same.
 
Which file effects the McManus 2015 scope zoom because I use a controller to play saints row and its the hugest hassle to try and zoom in and out on it now because their are too many levels of zoom. I'm fine to fix it myself but I have to say it's a little over the top atm seeing as things don't spawn at the distance I could zoom to use it now lol it's like almost twice the zoom needed to hit anything that spawns cause I think a head twice the size of the cross hair is more then enough I dont need to be able to look up their nose to pop one in the head haha.
 
Hay there shitface, Im loving your mod however this part of the mod.
(Heavy trucks can now crush vehicles.)
quite annoying due to some missions where your not driving the car and you end up getting crushed by a truck or a truck panicking and driving into you.
Do you think you could remove this part of the mod, or change it so YOUR car won't get crushed.

I also wish for a request from this mod too unless its already in the Gang In Space DLC the guns you get the laser guns, are you able to put them weapons in the store too?. I really love them weapons, Im a huge fan of laser guns. Also maybe with the STAG laser guns make the level 4 with no cool-down but make it cost alot.

If you want to disable the heavy vehicle crush thing, just delete every .xtbl file that begins with "truck" in your SR3 folder, except for truck_2dr_fire01_veh- removing this one will mess up the fire truck's weapons. So far nobody has found a way to alter the vehicle crush physics, so I won't be able to make only the player's car immune to crushing right now.

I'd love to add those gangstas in space guns too, but it can't be done right now. Someone needs to figure out how to make the game load the DLC assets first.
 
hey shitface can you do something about exploding bullets from 45 shepherd to be in d4th blossom...or or 45 shepherd have shooting speed of d4th blossom? and you should know that this mod crushes my SRTT every time i try to load any save.
