Sticky Camera mod by IdolNinja (based on Bloodsinger's sticky cam mod for SR2)

Changes the vehicle camera so it no longer autocenters for kbam users.

Install:
Extract vehicle_defaults.xtbl to your sr3 install folder:
..\steam\steamapps\common\saints row the third\

Not having a clue what KBAM was refering to I resorted to consulting with
the all seeing eye, Google. 3 pages of KBAM radio station references later I came
across what seems the most likley meaning! Keyboard and Mouse users.

I honestly had not heard that one before.
I'll check this mod out assuming it does not conflict with
the camera_free.xtbl mod I use to improve aiming reticle placement and amount of zoom in some areas.
 
Okay, weird. I just got a email from the forum asserting there was a followup on this watched thread, one by
plasmatic. However I see no posting here from him and the one the email said he sent isn't in his profile either.

Twilight zone maybe?

He did post, but then immediately deleted it so it's out of public view. His post said he was having issues with the mod so I'm guessing he figured it out and felt it was no longer needed.

precisly, sorry about that..

I couldn't get the mod to stick for some reason.. tried to reinstall it then i seems to work for whatever reason.. so i felt my post was unnecessary
 
I found the mod takes about 5-10 seconds to activate when you get in a vehicle, and during those 5-10 seconds your camera will behave as "normal" before sticking as intended.
 
I could not get this mod to work for me. I installed it as part of GoS b3. I'm not sure WHY it doesn't work, everything else works just fine, I made sure there was no conflicting files and everything. The weird thing is, it was working at one point.

In the end, I decided just to edit tweak_tables.xtbl and change the value for Vehicle_camera_delayed_sticky_time from 1.5 to a much larger number (I used 123 to find it easier if I ever need to change it back for some reason), and I'm using the 'Delayed' camera option.
 
Are you sure you don't have some other mod using that file in the root of your install folder that's overriding it? The only file the mod uses is vehicle_defaults.xtbl
 
I'm positive. I'm using the Loose Files option right now. patch_compressed.vpp_pc & patch_uncompressed.vpp_pc are both default. I don't have any extra mods.
