The Modding News Destined to Change Everything

...who is referencing PC Gamer who referenced Bluesnews apparently...

As I noted, everyone is taking what's long been found and saying it in their article on their site so they get the hits. Don't need to actually do original research.

Though to be fair there isn't much to be done. The best we can hope for in an accurate article is saying "read his blog post" and copy-pastaing it. Well, ok, the REAL best would be a proper interview with parties involved, but, you know, work :rolleyes:
 
Finally, a news post about this exciting new turn of events that actually directly sources Idol's blog, without any bullshit.
And you'd never guess who... ScrewAttack!

Though the article is brief, it is the most accurate I've read by far, and as I said before, it just dierectly links the blog.

(oh, and if you guys do read this, my recommendation for a future Armory episode would be the Penetrator from Saints Row: The Third, because beating people to death with a 3 1/2 foot dildo is much more fun than it really should be.)

What’s going on here is that the team at Idol Ninja were hanging out with the team at Volition play-testing Saints Row IV, having a chat. One of the team at Idol Ninja suggested that the Volition team offer up an SDK (Software Development Kit) to the public for Saints Row along with a public contact for developers who had questions about modifications.

Also, that article seems to imply you wrote a formal proposal. Provided that's not another misunderstanding on their part, would you care to post the text of that proposal here? I'm curious to see what exactly it said.

EDIT: The article also refers to this forum as "xenForo", probably because the admins haven't changed the default heading. (Why not, come to think of it?) xenForo is just the software that runs the forum.
 
Well, props to being the first bit to actually pay attention to the linked forum and notice that Volition members are now posting here. Shame they got the name of the forum wrong as well.

Or... maybe it's REALLY good investigative journalism, and it turns out IdolNinja is not just one poster, but a team of modders all posting using the one account! :eek:
