This seemed a good place to ask my question rather than making a new thread, as it is related to topic and is a world issue.
In SR3 street NPC's /actors and car traffic have a habit of disappearing as soon as the player character turns his or her head away.
I'm sure this was done to save on some sort of massive resource issue on game box platforms.
What I'd like to know is if this can be 'fixed' somehow via the SDK tools? For those of us with 'real' game machines it can't matter that much! (hope)
It sure would be grand if so, as my favorite form of game play in SR3 is to just free roam and run amok as I so choose with my gang members.
It is highly immersion jarring to have people just vaporize (including other gang members, police, whatever) just because one had the temerity to look away for a moment.
As fun as missions are and were, I think overlooking this aspect of the game is a error as I do believe a LOT of players just enjoy some flat out fun roaming 'da hood'. I've
spent countless hours doing just that, far more so than playing the core missions.
As an aside, I pray this has been addressed in the upcoming game at least for those of us using PC's. (maybe a toggle at least)?
