Hmm, everything seem to work for me, do you have the game on steam or somewhere else?
Steam has the most updated version, if ran on some older version, it can break fast.

How can I play the normal game with this? The install vid shows the ULTOR difficulty and mine doesn't, but it works anyway if I start a new game

you just uninstall the mod by removing all of the files from "1-MODDERS_-_PUT_YOUR_OWN_PERSONAL_MODS_HERE" folder and make a new patch and put the new files in the games directory , then you will have the regular game.
The ultor difficulty was just the hardest difficulty in an older build.

I’m having difficulty finding the stashes. I go to the exact location on the map in the description, but there’s nothing there. I break the nearby crates but nothing happens.
Btw this mod is just downright amazing, seriously, five stars man.

What exactly causes Aisha's (edit: Tanya's) pistol to be invisible? gang members that spawn with it just points their fingers as if the weapon is not in the game.
i might've messed up by adding some optional mod from GoTR but i have no idea what exactly since i don't have any weapon replacement, actually, the only optional mods i use are:

Under " CONTROLS AND ONSCREEN PROMPTS MENU"
I 3. Sticky Camera -no auto-centering of camera when driving
I 4. Handling mod by Ink0gnito -lowers sensitivity for vehicle handling

Under "CHARACTER CREATION OPTIONAL MODS"
I 5. Height 5ft Tall

Under "CLOTHING AND TATTOO OPTIONAL MODS"
I 3. Clothing colors selectable in wardrobe

Under "CAMERA OPTIONAL MODS"
I 2. Increase FOV mod - Fine Aim Right Side

I'm sorry if i'm not supposed to post it here, and i'm pretty sure it's a user mistake but i've no idea what's going on.

It was user mistake, forgot to copy preload.tbl from the Ultor Rising folder.
