SRIV Volition Update to SRIV Modding SDK!!

I just got some estimates back from everyone involved with Release A of the SDK (weapon modding) and it looks like it will be happening soon. I don't want to hold anyone to actual dates since we're all doing this in our spare time, but my best guess would be sometime this month*

When the tools are released will it be possible to create new radio stations? I would love a custom radio station that could play user music.

We would love this too, but it won't be included in the first release of tools. Currently there isn't much audio love in the releases, but hopefully Ellis can fix that. :)

The last commit for the SRTT and SRIV tools released was three months ago. SR2 is 6.

I have some questions about this, as many posts on these forums have me confused by speculation. The Modelling SDK is that going to be just a plug-in for 3DSMAX? Or are you guys planning on releasing headers and or libraries that could be used in an IDE?

Are the 3DSMAX plug-ins going to be compatible with the Blender? There is an addon or plug-in that exists for Blender to use 3DSMAX plug-ins already. It works great with making assets for the GRIT engine.

I have to be honest, I am asking these questions because I have a genuine want to create a GUI based interface for whatever tools that are released. One that integrates the releases of tools described. To make a kind of toolset for SR2 and SR3 modding.

It's still going to be a weird road. As soon as that finished I started typing up a list of questions I'll need to answer... But we're closer than we were a couple days ago.
