I'm not really a part of the discussion but I actually liked Angel. I know he's pretty unpopular among SR fans but I like how he had an established goal which led to him doing things to accomplish it and not just 'cause. Plus, him recovering his mask and putting up a decent fight against Killbane (at least in the beginning) before his eventual defeat was a nice way of ending his story. Whether Killbane dies or not doesn't really matter, since he was humilliated by the Boss and, if you choose to do so, loses his honour as a wrestler by having you take off his mask, which served as true payback for what he did to Angel. That, to me, was far more important than killing him. Living a life of shame is what he tried to do to Angel, and having him suffer the same fate is much more impactful, in a way.
