I watched all of the videos and read everything i can find about this game but those references is not enough to make balance between 2 and 3 like they said before.
It sounds as though you just want a game that is essentially the same as we've already had. Almost like an SR2 Remastered or something.
There's only so many times they can stick to the same material before they start to repeat the same stuff. Like "The Ho Boat" in SRTT, that's just a re-hash of "The Enemy Of My Enemy" from SR2.
And if you think about it, SRIV was nothing but a chopped up version of al 3 games, but with an Alien twist:
Rescuing Shaundi from Veteran Child in On Track.
Aisha being beheaded by Jyunichi.
Tanya trying to take out King.
Maero trying to run down Playa in his Atlasbreaker.
Julius attempting to kill Playa.
They literally compressed the whole Brotherhood Story Arc from SR2 into Pierce's Loyalty Mission in SRIV.
It's literally the same thing we've done before, but with a twist in the theme or atmosphere.
At least with a new setting and new characters, they haven't limited themselves to creating what fans have come to expect from them, they can push the limits and see what works and what doesn't. If the fans respond positively to their experience in this SR, we might get a more polished sequel which focuses more on the favorited features and side-lines the hated features. And if specific features are requested enough, they may even add them into the next one.
If you want to play a series where the next game is exactly the same as the one before it, go play FIFA.
