My bad call to table's item by index should look like this

my_dance(my_dance_table.dance_char[2], my_dance_table.dance_anim[1], my_dance_table.dance_message[1])

So this call would show follower1 doing anim1 with dance message1?

Yeah, but there is one limitation, default index [1],[2]... after table initiation can't be changed.

If I want to call all four chars it would be [1,2,3,4] or [1],[2],[3],[4]?

Not really you need cycle for each > for k,v in pairs
