You know what it sounds like? "Damn, you know that Multi Theft Auto? Let's do it for the guys who missed out! The console gamers!" And then went "PCwhat? Oh, they have MTA already, they don't want OUR help, they made the mod themselves. Obviously they don't care about us. *Sniff*"
Because, you know, a lot of this seems like they didn't rip pages out of the playbook so much as go in guns blazing and steal it in a heist, then declare it their own by changing the name. It's totally different, see? Name's different. Oh, and it's only PART of the map, but it's much higher detail. Really.
Look, it's not the same, right? And if you keep insisting it's us playing catch-up, we won't give it to you PC gamers! How do you feel about that? Huh? Well, maybe we'll do that anyways, see how you like it then! Huh? Happy now? Stop comparing us to our previous far larger successes, or maybe you can play them instead of what we're making now, if you're gonna be like that we'll take our game and go home! How do you feel now? Huh?
Yeahhhh... it's obvious I don't have a lot of sympathy for R* in regards to the PC community, ever since they threw em under the bus for unlocking Hot Coffee (not 'adding', or 'modding' or even 'fixing', but unlocking. A one byte binary flag in a script does NOT 'adding content' become). It was their own fault, they burned all their good will to escape instead of owning up, and then showed the contempt they had ever since with lazy and possibly missing ports (RDR is just one example).
If they ever consider GTA:O for PC, maybe. Depending on how it's paid for (I'm not doing subscription, so that's out, and micropayments to 'unlock content' is out too unless we're talking aesthetics like say outfits and vehicle paintjobs that have no real impact). Still iffy.
