Past Gangs Spawning Mod

What if you customise a vehicle with the extra gang colours and then remove the mod?
Your car's paint will turn black then but is still editable.
Or if you save one of different cop cars and then remove it?
I don't know what you exactly mean but as the SR:TT peacemaker is a variant that's in the vanilla game that should be no problem.

Sounds reasonable that it should work fine right? Since the paintjobs and cars should be all in the code the host player is running.
Sounds reasonable, but npc spawns as an example, won't be the same, so that will create a problem. In co-op you go with 2 players through the exact same campaign, same city, same civilians, sure some things can get lost without problems. But things like npc spawns are not just in the code of the host, the engine picks characters and vehicles from several spawn groups, for both players, as there are 2 player characters loaded into 1 world, and if such spawn groups are missing on one end, the engine can't load the spawn group correctly, thus it goes wrong.
 
Yeah I was wondering about the SRTT cop and the 50's cop.
So if I still wanted to be compatible with another player, but retain my colours, I would have to use the aliens only version?
 
Nope. You can use any version you like, but if you don't want the extra colors simply install everything except vehicle_cust_color_sets.xtbl.
 
Actually I meant that I'd like to keep the colours above everything else, so I should just install vehicle_cust_color_sets.xtbl and nothing else then?
I'm figuring this way I'll stay compatible with everyone, while keeping my colours/saved cop cars.

Ah sorry must've misread it. :oops: If you want to keep the colors but stay compatible, you should do that exactly.
 
I'll try that then, btw did you do something to the Void? I just checked it and the lights on it are purple.
Not that I'm complaining though, looks much better like this.

Also I think your character.xtbl or something else messes with the damage values, I was much more invulnerable with your mod then without it.
 
I tried to store Brotherhood Swindle and I don't have the mod. It seems that some decals just vanish after saving the car in a garage. It's something Kenshin with Japanese decals from SR3 suffered from, too.

I notice that this happens in the additional cheats mod as well. I think that the decals might simply be missing from the Fully _Customizable variant and the cvtf needs to be recrunched for them with those entries added in.

The way that vehicle spawning works is that cars switch to the fully_customizable variant when the player gets in them or customizes them.
 
You and savagegreywolf should combine your mods, adding more vehicles and maybe the other gangs to the gang customization (if it's possible yet).
 
Well, Ronin Kenshin here has the same problem, too. But Ronin Kaneda doesn't. :eek: Morningstar vehicles are fine, Brotherhood Compensator doesn't have decals at all so no problem. Samedi vehicles haven't been checked by me but they have been reported to lose their paintjob as well.
