SRV Ideas thread.

Mouse control for flying planes. Maybe similar to battlefield 3 or 4. Keyboard is not so bad for helicopters and VTOL, but very frustrating for regular planes.

Some ideas for activities.
Septic Avenger: Ultor and STAG are planning to buy and eventually fortify several buildings around the city. Let's give 'em a new coat of paint.

Mayhem: Both the gangs and local law enforcement have invested a ton of money into various business fronts to supply their "less-than-legal" activities. That ends today.

Tank Mayhem: The Saints raided yet another 'Guard armory in the city. The result. A military grade tank. You'll use it to wreak havoc on several transport routes that are currently being used by the enemy.

Mech Mayhem: Ultor and STAG are proving to be a huge pain. Let's knock them down a peg. How? Well what about a hijacked, fully customizable, mech prototype that we ahem "appropriated" from STAG?

Fuzz: We need you to go undercover behind enemy lines and gather as much dirt as you can on the local law enforcement agencies. While you're at it you could crack some skulls.

Fight Club: Prove your physical prowess in the arena and earn both street cred and cash prizes.

Zombie Uprising: The Saints recently stole a prototype VR simulator from Ultor. Unfortunately this lands you in a vr sim filled with deranged zombies.

Saints of Fury: Stuck with a stolen arcade cabinet, and several (in-game) hours to spare the Boss decides to relax, by doing what they already do on a daily basis this time in highly modified version of an existing arcade game.

Hitman: There are several targets around the city that range from gang-enforcers and assassins to politicians and corporate executives. You goal is to simply kill them by any means you see fit. However you could alternatively try to recruit them, if they give up that is.

Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Apocalypse: After the massive success of Super Ethical Reality Climax the group behind the tv show is now being investigated by the FBI over allegations of weapons smuggling and kidnapping. This is the perfect chance to join in on the action and take down the so-called man-cat himself.

Trail Blazing: We need to make it clear that the Saints are back in town. So what better way to do that than a hazmat suit and a modified atv bike.

Survival: You get a call from an unknown number to meet them at a certain place at a certain time. What can possibly go wrong?

Guardian Angel: A few of your lieutenants need to gain access to several key areas around the city. Unfortunately these areas are currently under lockdown. Defend your allies and make sure they don't go home in a bag.

Oh yeah and also for side missions I would like to see street racing return, but allow to use your own custom car. Also, a more SR2 style of the fight club, and maybe a better hand to hand combats.

Another idea I had would be something I like to call "City-Wide Events". These are basically large events that can happen certain neighborhoods, districts or even the city itself (Stilwater and Steelport). These include:

Concerts: Increased police presence and heavy civilian traffic especially around the Ultor Dome and Pryor Stadium (newer, larger stadium that replaces the old stadium that was used in the mission Murder-Brawl 31). You'll often hear music emanating from the stadium.

Sports Event: Heavy police presence (a mix of cops, sheriff deputies, ultor security and riot police) and a heavy civilian presence. You'll often hear chanting and yelling when you're near the Arena\Convention Center districts or any of the neighboring areas.

Parade: Heavy civilian presence. Light police presence. Unique parade float variants of the Wellington, Churchill, and Flatbed will spawn. Street venders and mascots have a higher spawn rate.

Snowstorm: Low civilian and gang presence. Medium police presence. Most civilians that spawn will often consists of firefighters and EMT's. Ground will be covered with snow. (Does not affect driving controls).

Heavy Rainstorm: Minimal civilian, law police, and gang presence. NPC's driving vehicles will move much slower or alternatively put the pedal on the metal. Ground is covered by six inches of water. (Does not affect driving controls or on-foot combat)

Protests: Extremely heavy police presence, medium gang presence, and heavy civilian presence. Certain roads may be blocked off by the crowd or police checkpoints. Has a chance to degenerate into a riot.

Riot: Police actively target civilians, civilians will attack police and city property. Stores have a chance of being damaged, (You can still use them as normal) and store-owners will immediately pull out a machete, baseball bat, McManus 2018 or a random shotgun if police try to raid the store, protesters try to loot it or if the Boss tries to rob it. Certain buildings will have smoke and fire emanating out the windows, trash, glass, broken bottles, tear gas canisters and other debris will litter the road, damaged\destroyed vehicles are a common sight and police and protesters will set up barricades. Lastly oppressors and eagle helicopters will do fly-by's over the area.

Gang War: Enemy gang members actively target Saint soldiers, police, and in some cases civilians, swat officers will do routine patrols and gang members will patrol the area in five-man squads or alternatively a column of vehicles supported by several squads. civilians are a rare sight during a gang war.

Lockdown: SWAT, Riot Police, STAG, National Guard and Ultor forces can be seen in five or ten-man squads, law enforcers can be seen harassing civilians (pulling them over, threatening them, asking them a ton of questions) or outright attacking anyone (Police can be seen raiding stores, arresting people, beating civilians,).

(Additional Notes): These can be disabled in the options menu.

Option to deactivate upgrades.

Sometimes in 4 I just wanna fight normally, but I can't do it anymore and have to stuck with the fantastic super power. Luckily 3 doesn't taste old, so both game can stand as brothers from different style to me.

Another feature I think they should include is a much, MUCH more detailed voice editor.

Dreaming big here, but what about a different set of lines your character says in the story, and after having chosen the set of lines you can start the voice editor and edit the voice in as much detail as you would probably want to have?

Heres a good idea: the boss goes to time travel back into when saints row 1 happens and avoids all of it, then he gets a new life in the 1920s and becomes a mafia boss. In-game, you will gun down people here and there, and your final boss would be somebody like Al Capone. You will still get customization like facial features and etc.
My second story would be that the boss is one of the 1990s gangsters like a blood or crip sort of like saints row 1.

Let's go to the past, pet some dinos, go to the future, zinyak killed by dinos, save Gat... second Gat (why not 2 Gats), save Earth, Dex killed by dinos, save every Saint member, dinos killing luchadores, vice kings, ultors, pimps (except Zimos),... Saints kill dinos, Saints win.
Epic idea for storyline

NO!
