SRV Ideas thread.

How about this:
Caucasian Male
Afro-American Male
German Male
Caucasian Female
Chinese/Japanese Female
German Female
Johnny Gat (Hey, who doesn't want to be Johnny Gat?)

The problem I see here, though, is that the 'Johnny Gat' voice option would mean that Gat's voice actor would have to do double-duty for both Gat's and Boss's voices.
Chinese or Japanese would be great !

I do not understand this. Where a caucasian voice is different than an african voice? I know a couple of black italian people, they speak italian (one of them speak even lumbard, a northern dialect) and their voice has nothing different than ours.
But I saw that in cartoon, movies, videogames, in american versions, whites are dubbed by whites, blacks are dubbed by blacks and asians are dubbed by asians.
I'm not saying that there should not be african and caucasian voice (as opposite, the more, the better), but I do not understand the difference.

Johnny gat XD It would be hilarious XD

What I was really hoping in SR:V would be to up the customisation everywhere, from layers of clothes to car customisation. Oh, and to bring back SR:2 style hood takeovers, with a focus on end-game gang notoriety being that they can actually take over hoods but only at end-game and with a special option for it, so that it is a lot more like a gang-war. And fix the vehicle spawning so that the only vehicles that spawn in front are road-blocks and civilian cars and have it so that gangs and police don't have magic engines of cheat-speed to be able to have a better car chase experience, and also more weapons being able to be shot out of car windows as well. Also bring back shops like brass knuckles and Cycles and the food stores. And make the game colourful, and a diverse world. Did I mention customisation? Oh, and definitely a good soundtrack and an option to import your own songs to the game, with an on-foot mp3 to play them with. And awesome mod support for PC.

I like the variety of clothing stores SR and SR2 had. From cheap ass clothing to high end products. In SRTT most was found in Planet Saints and in SRIV a bunch of clothes were in every store.

Yeah. I would like to see, alongside the new chlotes also chlotes from older games, and also an option to create new chlotes from already in game meshes, something like the body shop in Sims 2

1. Bring back layered clothing and mission replay
2. Keep the superpowers, especially flight
3. Now that the game doesn't have to be limited by the specs of last-gen consoles, destructible environments would be nice.
4. More voice options

Story-wise, I'd like to see a time machine malfunction put the SRIV crew back in 2006-era Stilwater, but with all their memories of what happened after intact. It'd be a great chance to deconstruct the idea of a reboot, and continuing temporal anomalies would be a good excuse to bring in humorous historical characters. The malfunction could also leave temporal clusters everywhere to explain the superpowers, and gradually warp the city into something more original, like a cross between SR2 Stilwater and New Hades.

I totally agree with you .

Maybe a more branching storyline? With your idea of the malfunction maybe there could be some different branches where one ending ends up with Stilwater as normal (and then the events of 3 happen, then 4 etc.) or a completely different ending, but it also changes in the middle, and even when free-roaming so that no 2 playthroughs are the same.

And maybe have superpowers as an option, or at least don't make them extremely OP
