What got everyone into saints row?

I got into Saints Row, from watching AlChestBreach playing co-op with his friend, and they looked like they were having a good time, so I tried it out for myself, along with my friends, and in the end, this game was the bomb.
 
Lol this is a funny story i shouldn't get banned for this one because i bought all the saints row games and i am going to be honest here because you know its a forum honesty is always good so i first played saints row 3 pirate version i thought the images and stuff were kind of funny and then when i played up to i think it was when you got zimos out of safeword. I stopped playing because it was laggy on the computer i was using and plus it was around when it first came out man i thought it was funny so i didn't play for a long period of time so then i got sr1 for the xbox 360 of course and sr2 for pc and sr3 for the pc and sr4 for the pc.

i played sr1 didnt beat it the chases were to hard sr2 luckily for the pc i just downloaded the a completed save file because some missions were to hard for me so i just replayed the missions i could do. sr3 and sr4 were my favs because they were funny and i liked how they changed from a hard ass game from sr 1 and 2 to being a asome funny not challenging game in sr3 and sr4 now i bet ill be hearing idol ninjas wraith from this lol.And you know whats funny the between mostly the saints row series and seeing how people make friends on steam and all it made me stop wanting to play pirate games and decide to buy them instead of downloading them for free.For a side note idk if i can get banned for just being honest i can get banned i know if i was playing the pirate version right now at this time and don't own the games but i do own the games so i think i shouldnt have problem so hopefully i am right.

pretty sure you are ok now. if you are who you say and own the games, i dont think theres anything anyone can do. :p

i mean if you legitimately own the games on steam (which you do), then there really is no problem. (i added u btw)
 
Oh lol yup i made sure i made my profile un private so you guys can see i own them i logly have my steam profile private because i had people add me randomly because they want to trade and crap.

yah im just on steam for games. not to trade. XDDD
 
Saints Row TT, Zero Punctuation, a Steam sale, and the rest is history. 4, then 2. Would have gotten 2 sooner but it never went on sale.

Now how did I miss that...
 
I was never a big fan of the 2nd game but the political satire, tongue in cheek humor, total cartoony violence, and the fact I could create my own character is what got me into Saints Row. I also like how the games pay homage to 80's and 90's films, wrestlers, and so on and so forth. I remember starting a thread at the official site for people to find every little thing in the game that paid homage/tribute movies, comics, and so on and so forth.
