Am I the only one actually looking forward to this?

A southern male voice would definitely make for some hilarity. Get Unknown Hinson to do it. I would throw all my money at that.
They should get christian kane to do the southern male voice I mean he did play in a a show I used to whatch called leverage as a guy that can beat the shit out of anybody how about a bad ass play a bad ass voice lol logic.

My only real worry is that it'll be a little weird not playing as the Boss, but on the other hand, who doesn't wanna be Johnny Gat?
A lot of people, apparently. But I'm stoked for the game.
I'm trying not to get uber excited about it though, don't want it to be a repeat of what I thought of EtD, which I thought ended up being overhyped. Would have been a good DLC for SRtT, imo. Too much of a wait for what we got.
Anyway, I'm excited to see that we can actually rescue the boss as Gat or Kinzie, instead of getting rescued by Gat or Kinzie as the boss, lol.

It a woefully under-appreciated narrative sleight of hand on Voliton's part. Most people just don't see the method to the madness.

I'm definitely excited.

So much that I started playing SRIV again and joined this forum.

I've trusted the creative vision of Saints Row, since 2007-2008. In a time where all I wanted was serious RPGs and to mod Oblivion... I found my fun in SR1 and SR2. I've definitely been surprised and even at times baffled by [V]'s decisions, but I haven't been disappointed yet. That's adaptability!

The people claiming to be Saints Row fans, that crap all over the story and design choices... aren't "series fans" to me, but people who wanted an annual revision of a hilarious gang simulator, where the story continued like CoD: MW.

What I mean by that is it's probably people who appreciate Call of Duty's model of cranking out essentially the same design, with new features; instead of a very different game, with the same mythos and characters.
