DLC Opinions?

That sounds extremely underwhelming, and overprice. As bad as the vampire DLC.
Welcome to Saints Row 3! (And now you see the purpose of this thread, for me to find out ahead of time these things are utter crap!)

Maybe you can put a description of each DLC in the first post and what it actually include(Some of them aren't clear)
And maybe your rating for it?
I like to play with character custimization, so good outfit DLC is more interesting to me then vehicle dlc, etc.

What I have
Season Pass
- Genki Bowl IV - 4 "new" activity and 3 new homie and 3 new head. The activity are modified version of default activity, completing them will earn the player homies the genki girls and headgear.

-Gansta in Space - Haven't cleared it yet, Story based activities 3 new weapon (Laser weapon), vehicle? and outfit?

-The Trouble with Clones - Haven't cleared it yet either.

-Nyteblade Pack - 4 Item pack, 2 vehicle, 2 outfit - 1 Altar boy outfit(Pieces, the white shirt look like a dress by itself) 1 Bloodycannoess outfit(One piece) vechile is a car Nyteblade mobile and a bike Bloody Cannoness 7/10

-Funtime Pack - 3 item DLC, 1 outfit, 1 vehicle, 1 weapon, outfit is the Professor Genki outfit, the Jumpsuit(Split into parts!!!) with the cat head, Weapon is a rocket launcher that shoots octopus that brainwash enemy NPC to your side for a shortwhile before it explode. Vehicle is a Professor Genki themed van with a cannon, when driving it, you can suck up NPC and launch them, or jump into the cannon yourself to launch yourself. 10/10

-Warrior Pack - 4 outfit DLC, warrior princess, knight, Samurai and Space suit, 8/10

-Moneyshot Pack - 3 Item, 1 outfit, 1 vehicle and 1 weapon, outfit is a female black spec-op catsuit(Male look weird with the heel), A Ultor themed color jetbike, and a weapon a TOGO-13 - A automatic firing Sniper rifle with 30 round, and multiple firing mode - 7/10

-Shark Attack Pack - Two item, a hat and shotgun, THe hat looks like a baby shark is biting your head, but it change hairstyle, the shotgun is one of the most fun weapon ingame, 9/10

Don't have
- Bloodsucker Pack - Heard bad rating for it, and seems to be not good

-Special Op Vehicle - Repainted default vehicle

- Explosive Combat Pack - Armor doesn't look nice, Grenade launcher look interesting

- Z-Style Pack - Not interested

- Steelport Gang Pack - The outfit are one-piece, and quality isn't that good, and they didn't go with the more interesting outfit.

- Invincible Pack - Cheats?

- Penthouse Pack - NPC Homie only = =;

Well, the main part of the thread here is for me and possibly others to get an idea of if it's worth it. For instance, warrior pack: 4 outfits. Apparently you think it's worth 8/10... and were willing to say so AFTER you paid $3 for it. Me on the other hand, I consider a few clothing items I don't care for anyways, or cheats you somehow have to pay for (but are in the game anyways) or what to be worthy of derisive laughter.

In turn, I don't consider a number rating to be worthy of more than drawing cries of fanboyism or being a never-pleasable-critic.
I won't argue with putting down what is included in the pack.. could anyone go into the ones such as the 3 major DLC packs to say what it involves? I don't plan to get any of the DLC packs from what I've heard (none of them are worth it) but it might help others.

A bit late opinion but...
Only dlc worth money is genkibowl. Its fun to play, Bobby and Zack is funny to listen. Also love genkimobile.
Bloodsucker pack is half that bad actually: after killing your "human shield" your health is restored (if you lost any); hourly income is bigger, but its things for those who needs easier start, + its not released in time when people needed it. I mean who needs such thing when most of those who bought SSTT, completed game and purchased all upgrades, cribs and ect months ago?
Warrior princess outfit is nice one if you like to play with female chars but its silly to spent 2-3$/euros to buy whole pack when you need only one outfit. Other outfits is kinda blah/meh... They should sell warrior princess separately
Shark Attack Pack: this should be special unlock for completing something in retail...
Invincible Pack: cheats for money? Are you serious?
Funtime Pack: two good things: 1. you can make yourself to look like Genki (in jumpsuit) 2. that genki car with cannon is thing that can help you to get some collectables who are somewhere high when you dont have jetbike or vtol, but both of them is more matter of taste and patience. They also should rename this to Genki Stuff Pack
Steelport Gang Pack: those outfits should be unlockables for beating all gangs in Steelport
Nyteblade Pack: where is Nyteblade outfit Josh wears? Without it this dlc should be called "Useless Stuff Pack". Oh yes this was created as (bonus?) for those who buys season pass, i forgot dat
Maximum Pleasure Pack: good deal, but if we take closer look: Z-Style Pack, Warrior Pack, Explosive Combat Pack is missing from list. Also warning: they also sell cheats (Invincible Pack) in this pack.
Z-Style Pack: blah/meh...
Explosive Combat Pack: that granade launcher can help you until you get rocket launcher
Everything else i didnt mentioned earlier: almost 6 euros for pack which adds 3 or 4 missions with go forward and kill everyone you see action? Or 2-3 bucks/euros for few reskined vehicles? No, thanks
P.S. sorry for my bad english

Does anyone else think this game is a joke compared to SR2? (I didn't read all of the posts so sorry if this has been discussed) I mean what happened? Flying through car windows? You can eventually buy invincibility (for the most part). What happened between SR2 and SRTT? Does anyone know what SR4 is going to be about? I hope it is about what happens between SR2 and SRTT (unless they already said what its going to be about then please tell me) Also why is it that the cost of all the DLCs is almost more then the price of the actual game? I also think that the 3 mission packs from the Season pass were way too short, there were like 3 mission in each? Could have been much longer. I honestly think they went a little off track with this game. I do hope that SR4 is between SR2 and SRTT because I love Gat, I love Gat a freakin' lot.

This game is very purposely over the top. Very very over the top. That should be evident from the first mission where you hang on to a bank vault in mid-air gunning down swat as they ask for your autograph as they try to kill you. Then later you end up skydiving freefall amidst cars and wreckage, trying to kill people also in free-fall to catch someone and parachute up. Then go THROUGH the jetliner, killing people, and emerge to do the same.

Actually, this game loves its freefall combat moments, doesn't it?

The issue I have isn't that it's so over the top, it's that it's so short, as is the DLC. As for said DLC still costing way too much that's simple. $$$

There are sites offering 50% to 75% off almost monthly on all SR:TT products, if your patient you can pUrchase everything very inexpensive as for the in between did you skip the intro to the game? It explains the saints took over stilwater and became media icons, enter steel port.....the game takes place after sr2. I wouldn't see the point of going back to play a game which would have to consist of them getting lawyers and PR agents to represent them and signing contracts for media memorbilia and autographs, which is what the intro insinuates. There wouldnt be much of a game there. They've already introduced cloning and it's not perfected, obviously any character could be brought back properly in the next game by just perfecting cloning which Oleg or Kinzie could obviously figure out. The question is would Gat even want to come back, he went out being his badass self and is now with Aisha.

They could easily bring back any of the main characters now or even enemies, the question is should they? I thinking bringing back characters now takes away from the original tales and we'd end up with repeated crap. "oh shit Gats back!....is that Maero??" They'd come back and want revenge on the saints and you beat them once already and it'll just get stale and repetitive. I could see maybe flash back missions at the beginning of the next game....having the saints finally being able to have proper burials for all the fallen comrades, to lead into a full city siege since they declared steelport foreign soil. Although......if they really wanted to go all out, they'd have the Government Clone Johnny Gat and use him against the saints.....now THAT would be sweet.

It's a game! Why not be over the top? Youre saying it's more Over the top then SR2? You put radioactive waste in a tattoo gun somehow in sr2, you kill bums to take there home in sr2, shaundi is screwing the entire city in SR2, you can drive around and spray sewage on people from a truck, you break out of prison to go back and break someone else out of prison, you break Gat out a courthouse, what exactly isn't over the top about any of that? Violition doesn't force anyone to buy DLC, you want it you pay. Thats how it works, could the content of been more providing for the prices? Sure, but it wasn't. Could they of just released it all with the game instead of having ANY DLC? Sure but they didn't, and no one put a gun to our head to pay for any of it. We chose to pay, some paid full price, some didn't. I personally think thier DLC content has been pretty good compared to other games I've played. I also didn't pay full price, I purchased during sales.

Complaining about the cost of something you chose to purchase is pretty fruitless.

Someone posted a link in may to www.gamersgate.com which was a having a 66% off all SRTT products, I personally bought all the DLC prior to penthouse($3)and witches($3) for like $12 from the same site back in march. I bought the game itself for $30 and another $20 for the mission addons pack I'm at a total of $68 into srtt......considering it was $59.99 on release, I'd say that's extremely acceptable. You pay for convenience and impatience and that's why I Paid full price for the most recent 2 DLC's cuz I wanted new bitches right then and there and I wanted to fly on that broom right then and there.

Just for reference, the broom is the best flying vehicle in the game period end. Tricks are easy, you can squeeze in tight spots and it's handling is superb. The broom alone is worth the $3 I love it lol

Couldn't of said it better myself, especially the games length, way to short
