GTA V new screens

I've played the game now for quite some hours and I don't really have much problems with it, as I just ignore the things that are at expense of the female gender, but few examples why the amount of money invested could've been spent better:
In GTA IV the cars' springs were really really soft, in GTA V, every car drives like a supercar with really really bad grip; Even wrecks and SUVs.
It takes _so_damn_long_ to get rid of the cops if you get them on your tail even on wanted level 1;
And most bugging "feature": If you don't perfectionize missions to Gold, you don't get a single penny; Would've been better that you get the full amount of cash if you get Gold, half amount if you get Silver, and ¼ amount if you get Bronze for your mission performances.
Most of the money I got sofar was from one heist, and it's not much money, seems like I have to live a humble life ingame because I like to play the game at my own pace.

EDIT: another thing: the game might have so much vehicles, but there's barely any variety in traffic. I see sometimes 5-9 cars of the same model spawning.

Seriously about the traffic, didn't notice that.

Personally, I am loving the cops :D Losing them at 1 star is impossible though, because normally you get 2 stars if you resist arrest.

The cars I am cool with, they are better then in IV.

For the rest, I am L-O-V-I-N-G this game. No complaints so far, I like it more then San Andreas (which I played more then 1000 hours.) I just unlocked Trevor, first time out of Los Santos, can't believe how big the map actually is :D

Yeah, and I'm Santa Clause. A blind man would have noticed even before the release that the traffic uses the same system it always has. AKA if someone drives an Infernus (player or NPC), chances are you'll see 10 more before you leave the area.

That's completely explainable in even one line:
To save memory games like GTA and Saints Row preload only certain types of cars. To save even more memory, they spawn the same car you have.
So it's kinda legit. In GTA V it's just feels really really limited though, the variation in traffic.

It's understandable, but they could have made an exception for the more expensive traffic cars... I mean seeing 20 Crown Victorias on the same avenue in the US is pretty usual, but 20 Lamborghinis? Come on...

Not a chance.

It's good, yes, but is it 10/10 good? We've already figured it is a good game, but the reviews seem to think it's the third coming of Half Life (or fifth coming of Halo, whatever). I think they're a liiiiiiiittle excessive on the high scores, what with metacritic's review list taking a good 80-90% before you find one that ISN'T 100%.

As for cars and graphics, come on, it's obvious the screenshots and trailers are all from a special non-release internal pc version with their own high-res graphics and a lot of tweaks to get the most out of it. The real game looks nothing as good, both in variety and appearance.
It's like Skyrim, where it was obvious they faked it with a lot of pre-renders and high-res textures and fog settings hte real game lacks. It's inevitable, the game is made for ancient console hardware and thus looks like crap, but they sell it on the graphics so they have to do hacked PC renders, and while they're at it they have all those vehicles that won't show up all at once when in actual play, so go and force it to preload a certain set for promo shots...

At least the car handling is better. That's a big reason why I can't stand GTA4, even when it's a souped-up sports car it feels like I'm driving a boat. Not a small speedboat, but a cruise liner, like the sort that runs into reefs and capsizes because it has a turning radius measured in miles.

In GTA V, it's the exact opposite. Cruise liners drive like souped-up sports cars there, like every other drivable vehicle.

Anyway I played it a few minutes ago... umm, it's good.

It certainly is but it's not the perfect game the reviews suggest it is. For me the writing has really let it down, the horrible characters, the dreadful dialogue and childish humour spoil it. I can't comment on the story because I'm not sure if it actually has one, everything seems a little random at the moment. Everything else is brilliant, the cars are an improvement over GTA4s shopping trolleys, the gunplay has been massively improved and given the shit the game is running on they've done a great job with visuals (mostly).
