GTA V new screens

On the one hand, those graphics look SWEET.

On the other hand, this game is going to be on the PS3 and 360. That means that the chance of that being real in-game footage and NOT prerendered press mockups is about as slim as them suddenly embracing modding for the game once more.

I don't care much about the graphics, but in this case decrease of details is more than noticeable. Game still looks remarkably good, though.

Yeah, it looks nice, but of course it's nowhere near as nice as the trailer mockups. It's kinda too bad, it's saying "Ok, we KNOW it looks like it's 5 years out of date, but we're hoping you won't notice once these trailers that have no relation to the real graphics suck you in and get a purchase".

It's sadly the habit now of all games. Graphics sells, so if you have a release for consoles you do your best to hide the fact that it looks like it's made for last-gen systems. Because it is. The designers do the best they can but they're still limited to an itty-bitty run space, many times moreso for PS3.

What I kinda wish is they would make a game that would not only scale right, but be ported clean to the PC with far better graphics capabilities. As well high def graphics and shaders and the whole works.
Of course, the big reason most don't is the time involved.. you're now making two separate versions of the game, and the man-hours goes up, for a market that most publishers consider abandoned at best (mostly because they abandoned them!)

Ah well, at least we have mods, and those can fix up some of the issues, and do what the developers don't have the time to do. :)

i actually think the graphics are fine lol i guess im not that hugely drawn in by graphics to me it looks just as good as the new max payne but in a open world and i thought max payne looked great.

just reading a top 100 exciting things about gta5 i wanna know if these are legit ? because i remember reading before the game got delayed alot of this stuff wasn't in it for example tattoos weren't in it and now they are but this site seems to say body building and muscle gain is back in? if that is the case that would be awesome do you guys know anything more.

OR body building could be just a activity and not effect how your character looks because i remember before the game was delayed rockstar said it would be really difficult to do now with 3 characters.

Interesting choice to release on the day the SR4 review embargo is up.

That will be the bright side to the Xbox One and PS4 for pc users...
With both systems being based on AMD's x86-64 Multicore CPU's and ATI graphics, porting to PC should become alot easier.
Probably just strip some DRM code/replace with steams DRM and set the minimum requirements to something like a AMD's A6 or A8 APU's.

We may actually see less and less 32bit pc games in the future, as more games will be developed for the next gen systems then brought over to the pc (heck we may see easy adaptation to Linux/Unix as well due to the PS4 probably running a Unix x86-64 OS).
