SPOILERS Least favorite thing in the game?

It's pretty upbeat all things considered. We know there's a lot of folks who survived like Jane Valderama, Zack and Bobby, and a bunch of others abducted during the invasion. Plus all those historical homies like Jane Austen.

It's kind of hard for me to get a depressing vibe from the ending when the whole universe, past, present and future, is now open to the Saints. Not fixing the Earth because they're too busy blowing stuff up with Attila the Hun or saving mythological creatures on Noah's ark is exactly the kind of stuff I'd expect the Saints to be doing.

I'd like some DLC follow up, but hell, it's better than ME3's before the director's cut.

Sorry but all of that doesn't interest me at all, I'd rather have the SR world back.
The only thing that keeps me somewhat optimistic is the strong evidence that the entire game is a simulation.

I hate Rifts. Platforming Rifts most of all, as I got the hang of the others a bit more quickly. When I saw the last target area of the Hard TK Rift I just kinda stared blankly, trying to discern if this was Volition's idea of a cruel joke.

Then I saw the 'Fly an alien ship around for five straight hours' challenge.

Actually it is fly or drive an alien vehicle for 5 hours.

If you want a fairly easier way of doing this, what I did was plug in an xbox controller into my computer and rubberband the left analog stick so its pointing to the left and up. That way if you are flying around in the Void for example, it will just do small circles endlessly. Walk away for about 5 hours, do errands, chores, other things and that'll do it.

that hacking minigame. and what do i get for getting all 34 stores? no superpowers, no outfits, no secrets, not even an achievement. not to begin to explain how out of place and boring they feel with the rest of the game. if you release an update volition that gets rid of these, i gaurentee no one will miss it. but, its just a small pimple on the rest of the game that id be a fool to let it ruin the game. XD this is an epic game volition. i wanna roll with the saints again in the future!

also.

actually, i got through the hard tk rift no problem with gold. :3 just gotta match the colors and take it slow.

For some reason I liked the hacking game. Part of it is I got the 'longer time hacking' before I started hacking them all. Having 1 and a half minutes for a simple little puzzle? Please. But part of it is I'm good at that sort of quick puzzle.

I also, ahem, made a little something to fix the rifts, but that's because I hated those things. I had troubles with them, not passing but getting gold. So, I.. kinda modded it to reduce the points needed. By half.
Then released it and the same for the other activities (that's because I went to that table first looking for the rifts) in a mod. Go for it if you want. Or don't, if you consider it cheaty (it is).

My personal hate though is how much hassle it is for some of the challenges. I mean, kill a bunch of guys with super-powered beatdowns? Easy. Destroy alien spacecraft? In my sleep. Pop portals, disintegrate, dubstep (my fave)? Hah, great fun.

But.. hundreds of kills each? With the inflato-ray? That's excessive, as it only counts for aliens and once you pop a few they're replaced by the higher level guys and vehicles.. who are immune. So are CIDs. And then the abduction ray is great, but it takes a few shots to kill anyone. Annoying.
And then the fact that for some reason I find it far easier to demolish everyone with guns than try superpowers, as even upgraded TK takes a few throws to kill someone, and they love to dodge blasts or never group up for them... and there's no "kill hordes of aliens with each bullet gun just cause" challenge. :(

It's the last challenge I have left to complete for the achievement. I can't ignore it. I- I can't.
The real challenge is resisting the challenge.
