Ye thats what I thought about replacing npc's as you told me before about it but I still cant get them loading in game I think its coz im a noob when it comes to asm files and didnt bother updating the containerYou can add him as long as he replaces an existing NPC.
I already got him spawn invisibleYes "should" but its not as easy as it sounds iv ported over a few models with no sucsess think it was a container problem tho, if we do work out how to fully port them in then we can port in weapons aswell, SRTT had some sick weps

Thanks for the info will save me alot of searching about, ill be giving it a try as soon as I have some time but atm Halo 3 is calling me ;DIn total you should have in an NPC str2 folder 12 files (13 with a sim file). All of those should be renamed to whichever character you are replacing.
- cpeg/gpeg files are texture containers
- ccmesh/cgmesh files contain 3d geometries
- sim files are what controls the cloth simulation (needs to be hex-edited to match the replaced character's name).
Now that ETD is out can you add Lin Dane and Viola in this mod since they are not included in that DLC?
