Saints Row Reboot!

As the trailer appeared to be a cinematic, like SRTT, I still don't feel like I've witnessed any real evidence to prove that this is or isn't a game that feels like a classic or new Saints Row.

As for that shoddy bite-sized excuse for a "Gameplay Preview", I'm gonna have to wait for one of those Youtubers to do a frame-by-frame analysis so I can actually figure out WTF is going on.

I've already made a comment on YT for the trailer (now deleted), which basically explains my three points for whether or not I'll be playing this game as often as I play SR & SR2.

1. Player Customization
2. Cribs (Customization optional)
3. Homies

If these 3 features don't return, then I'll play this game once, then NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN... EVER!!!

So if anyone happens to know if these 3 features are available, I would love to know.

Edit:
Just went back and read some past comments.

The Boss is customizable!

1 out of 3

Hopes slowly being restored.

Edit:
Admixon: Well the homies are confirmed too
2 out of 3

I'll be honest... Those were my main two of the 3.

From this point on, the other two gangs could be space cowboys with cyber lassos for all I care.

The game looks awesome. The characters look awesome. The story seems intriguing.

Let's face it, the Saints we knew, their story went as far as it could.

From a street gang, to celebrities, to the Whitehouse, to an alien empire, and even to beating the Devil himself.

It's time for a fresh start, and I welcome the new Saints with open arms.

Edit:
I don't know why so many people hate Kevin, I think he's awesome. He almost feels like a Gat-Genki hybrid.

People who are saying it's going back to sr2 roots, saints row was never a "start up company" made by youths. There is a fundemental concept error with this game. It's not an attractive selling point to most Saints Row Fans. Saints Row 3 had elements of how they became a brand persey but was still enjoyable. I'm part of that crowd and even I feel pretty underwhelmed by this concept and characters.

Julius created the Saints to combat the gang turf wars going on in the Saints Row district. But after clearing out The Row, he got a taste for power, just like King.

So those Saints went in with solid intel, they made sure they had the resources to pull off any plans they had. And they were easily able to fend off any attacks on the Church with minimal consequences.

So in every Saints Row after that, The Saints were able to go into any situation with a slight advantage over their enemies because they thought ahead and had the stats to back them up.

View these new Saints as a wannabe crew that are charging into a situation that they might not be as prepared for as they planned. It's a chance to play a Saints Row where you're not the top gang, or you don't have all the intel, you have to literally start from scratch and build the crew you need to take over the city.

They're literally giving us the chance to create the Saints our way, instead of just joining a crew that already exists.
