SPOILERS Least favorite thing in the game?

I appreciated the joke at the time, much like the pointless choices that don't go anywhere in the previous scene.
However, you don't do a joke and then proceed to play straight throughout the entire game what you were mocking.
I wouldn't think of it as a joke so much as a warning of what's to come...

Can we get an addition where the warden simply gives up after I downed it for the 60th time? From what I've seen it rather enjoys the half an hour long torture of black holes and fireballs, and getting stuck in Image As Designed.

No, I didn't fail the QTEs: I just let that thing expires and continue on giving justice.

The radio.

Long thread, so I don't know if anyone's mentioned it before, other than the lack of a metal station (which didn't really bother me), but for all the hate ladled upon SRTT, the song selection was so great in that game. SR4 has nothing. Some nostalgia for us older folks on The Mix, and Jane Valderama's forced Shakespeare readings were funny, but other than that... "I want some FOOOD, I'm fuckin hungry!" Seriously, what was that crap? I end up leaving the radio off most of the time.

Funny, five minutes before, i have posted in a german thread about the f*** up radio in comparison with SR2 and GTA5 and 240 licenced songs. I like rock and metal too and SR2 was way better than GTA4 in this aspect. SR3 was also acceptable, but in SR4 it isn't worth anymore to make my own playlist.
I mean, in SR4 you willl find more dumbed down things than in every dumbed down RPG.

Sounds like SRTT to me :)

It has metal. It doesn't have a metal station but GenX features metal.

That's what I hate about the radio in SR IV, the stations are messed up. The Mix supposedly plays 80's Pop and Rock but it has 80's and 90's rap as well. GenX is supposed to be alternative rock(?) but it's anything but alternative.

The music on The Mix is awesome though. I think I heard Howl by Beware of Darkness and Lissy Trullie - It's Only You somewhere as well, but apart from that the radio in SR IV is just as dull as in SR TT...

I haven't heard Valderama on K12 cause if I listen for more than 5 seconds to that crap I get a brain hemorrhage.

Now I've had time to experience everything in the game pretty much. I'd say the things I don't like about it are:

  • "Side Quests" are made up of city/sim take over goals and they leave you with only the story missions to do.
  • Those aliens that fly in on XORs and Marauders can suck my nuts. I'd rather have SR3's specialists and brutes than those annoying things.
  • The Radial Menu halts play, in some cases it's good because in a Metal Gear Solid style it gives you a little think time, but after playing SR3 and learning how to change weapons whilst in a pinch, we don't really need that feature. Also as a result of halting play, it also halts your homies audio.
  • Speaking of Audio, the radio, no matter how I altered the audio setting seemed to drown out the voices during some missions. I get why it disables in SR3 now.
  • Warden mashing, I use a 360 controller for any game that isn't FPS and I don't know how QWERTY exclusive people found it, but once your weapons are strong enough to take out a warden quickly the mashing bits become harder to make up for it. By the end I was basically having to win an arm wrestling match to take wardens out.
  • I avoided dual wielding like the plague this time round, but from what I gather it's still not an option to enable/disable. I like one pistol.
  • Having to kill 100 enemies with BUFF and STOMP... the powers I used the least, is going to be a pain ¬_¬
But I don't wanna bash the game, everything else is cool. And I'm still enjoying it.

The thing I hate most and in the end made me cancel my pre-order and not buying the game at all is this random blurrynes that appears every 5 seconds. So god damn irritating. Also played the game on a concole at a friends house, didn't like the game at all. Even SR:TT is better than this piece of absolute crap. Huge disapointment for me.

Least favorite is the glitching and wall-rolling effect. It drives me insane and I just want it to look normal. Did these guys watch The Matrix for as much as they tried to copy it? Other than some occasional wall bending, everything looked perfectly normal.
